This place is a joke went in to pick up my rental I reserved online, website doesn't specify what is needed for rental. Switched my policy to full coverage paid in full and these jokes of a company wouldn't rent to me "we've had people before scam us not staying you would but it's happened". Do not recommend their service. Dowhat your supposed to and what they need and this is how they treat paying customers.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. After booking & paying through Priceline, they first wouldn't let me change my reservation. Then they told me they needed a credit card on file with my name on it. Then the charged me after I had already paid through Priceline. They said I had agreed to extra protections when I had not and they were unwilling to do anything about it. STAY AWAY!!!

Tried to rent a car from here with my Mother in Law today. Made a reservation online, thought it would be fine. Walk into the building and start giving the clerk our information and come to find out she needs full coverage on her personal car insurance to rent from Thrifty. Even though I would have been included as an additional driver and I have full coverage insurance, that was not enough for Thrifty. They explained the policy is due to their being a local business rather than corporate and they do not have the purchasing power to offer insurance like Enterprise does. So now we are at Enterprise and it has been easy, fast, and satisfying. Maybe Thrifty offers some people a good rental experience but for us it was simply frustrating and nonsensical. I am passionate about supporting local businesses but if you make it hard I have no qualms going corporate. Good luck to anyone trying to rent a car from these people.

Before renting a car from Thrifty, please go to the consumer affairs dept. website and look at the literally hundreds of one star reviews against this company. They obviously do not make their money from car rentals. They make it through forced upgrades, toll passes, erroneous cleaning charges for non-existant smells, animal hair, spills, stains, & general cleaning. They give unlimited miles and then restrict the areas that you're allowed to go. The car was inspected on my return, inside and out and given an ok. A full 24 hours after I returned the car, I received a message that I would be charged an additional $300 cleaning fee for smoking, animal hair, spills and stains. I had the car for 2 days and none of the above is true. My two day rental came to $586. Delay your trip, ask you mil for a ride, go anywhere to rent a car other than Thrifty. Enterprise Car Rentals is the only way to go. Wish they had a car available the day I needed it. I will NEVER give this company my business again, and will NEVER stop telling people about their deceptive business practices.

Yes. But they charge me 100 dollars to drop off at a different location. If possible I would recommend enterprise. There is an office a mile away from thrifty.
You have to be at least 21. There is a underage driver fee for people under 25 years of age.
You need a major credit card in the same person's name as the driver and you need full coverage insurance.
A license and proof of insurance. I didn't have a car so I didn't have insurance and had to cancel my reservation. If you get a reservation through travel companies like Priceline, you can purchase insurance through them.
