We visited Abners twice while vacationing Chesapeake Beach. The place would remind you of a cafeteria, not much ambiance. So you go here for the seafood, which very fresh. The portions are pretty large, the sweetened ice tea is great! We got an Ultimate Pot, which was yummy! Half dozen crabs, soft shell crabs, snow crab meal, and crab cake. Bonnie, our first waitress, was so sweet! And Isa (or Lisa), our 2nd waitress, was very nice. All kind, thorough, and good check up timing. However, I want to mention, both times we went we saw and heard a woman, who appeared to be the Manager. Which was confirmed by a staff member. While she BARKED at every single employee, In front of customers - She Never asked any patron, how was their meal. How is that? She was overly concerned with what each person was doing, she was loud, sounded harsh, and was in the middle of the restaurant!! I guess her employees are used to her rude, management style.

This is my families regular eat out spot! We enjoy the food. The water and the boat view. I love the new look of the main seating area! Open and bright feeling! Come here and try the Crab Drip!🤤

Its a cute little spot. Delicious crab. I ordered the crab imperial. It was spot on. Lisa was our server. She was very busy but her customer service was perfect even on a busy Saturday night. Great place for a date.
