We saw the dinner menu while wandering around Shattuck and had to come back to try it. The ceviche was fantastic! And we also had passionfruit sours, taro fries, and the lomo saltado, all of which were very tasty. I would definitely come back, I'd love to try the breakfast too and sit on the patio which is really cute and set back from the street so it's quiet. Recommended!

Darn, hate to say but I agree with other recent reviews. I was pretty shocked at the experience I had this morning at the Sunny Side Cafe. The food was okay. The food was served on a paper plate. Everything was a little off. I won't return soon.

I got the Avenue Benedict and it was good! It was a little empty though. All it had was eggs and herbs. I got a side of fruit but the fruits were not in the best shape. The egg was nicely cooked and super fluffy.

Good food, but a bit small for the price. The burger also needed a bit more flavor to really hit the spot. I got the Alameda and enjoyed the mushrooms and sauce. Though they were real light handed with the hollandaise sauce. The outdoor seating was convenient.
