Garrett was exactly who we needed to help us find our home. We were intimidated by the tough market, and Garrett was an invaluable guide and gave us the reassurance we needed to keep going and find the perfect house. He is knowledgeable and resourceful, and helped us figure out how to be competitive within our comfort level. In the end, we found the perfect house for us!

Garrett is so professional and helped my family to buy a house within short period of time in this competitive market. He has a good time management, and we were able to visit and see houses very quickly. Our escrow was done in 21 days, and Garrett was very professional and was always communicating with our loan officer, escrow officer, and us, making sure everything is going timely manner. Also, he was making sure everything after we buy the house. I highly recommend him for everyone who wants to buy or sell a house.

My boyfriend and I were first-time home buyers and Garrett was absolutely wonderful throughout the entirety of the buying process. He was extremely responsive and friendly, and knew far more than we ever hoped to about the process of buying a home. He genuinely cares about the well-being of his clients, and we felt very comfortable having him on our side. Garrett definitely exceeded our expectations and I would recommend his services in a heartbeat.

I think Garrett Mann is an excellent realtor, I would recommend Garrett to anyone looking to buy or sell their home. He was always there when we needed him. He is very serious about his job. He is like family. He never lost hope even when I did sometimes. He is a real go getter and always was very professional and I see him going far in this business, actually he has and we are very proud of his success. Security Pacific is very lucky to have such an outstanding man working for them. If it was not for Garrett,I do not think it would have sold in a timely fashion. We feel we were very lucky to have had him as our realtor. We feel he deserves realtor of the year award. Thank You Michael and Rene McFarland

The goal is to make your home as appealing as possible to the most potential buyers, before photos of your home are taken. Staging your home can include anything from redecorating to rearranging furniture, cleaning or other aesthetic strategies to present the home in the best possible light. You can do it yourself, have your real estate agent guide you, or hire a staging company.

In most cases, the buyer pays for the home inspection.

What does selling a home ‘as-is’ mean?

Jane Johnson | Mar 10, 2022
Colleen at Optimize5 | Mar 10, 2022

If someone is selling a home that needs repairs - yet chooses not to fix them - they may choose to list a property as-is. Disclosures and inspections are typical steps in the process. In an as-is sale, a buyer is willingly purchasing the home in its current state with full knowledge of its condition.

What is disclosure?

When selling a property, it is incumbent upon the seller to disclose any details about the home that might negatively affect its value.

How long will it take to sell my home?

Colleen at Optimize5 | Mar 10, 2022

Factors such as the time of year and market conditions play a big role in how quickly a property sells. How you price, market and stage your home are also very important variables that will affect how long a home remains on the market.

What needs to stay when I sell my home?

Colleen at Optimize5 | Mar 10, 2022

Any fixture that is ‘attached’ or built into the house typically remains. For example, if your house has built-in bookshelves, they typically stay with the house. The same is true of kitchen or bathroom fixtures, and fireplaces. Exceptions and details can be discussed during the negotiation process.

What is an appraisal for when I buy a house?

A professional appraiser will inspect a property and compare it to other similar homes in the area. From there, a fair market value is determined. Unless you plan on paying all cash for a property, you will likely need a home appraisal.

How do real estate agents get paid?

Colleen at Optimize5 | Mar 10, 2022

A real estate agent is paid as part of the closing costs, which comes out of the sale proceeds at the end of the process.

What steps do I take to sell my home?

Your first step is to hire a real estate agent you trust. Together, you will set an asking price, prepare your home for listing, list and market your property, negotiate an offer, and close on the sale.

How much is my home worth?

Sharing particular information when connecting with a real estate agent can help give you an idea of your home’s value in today’s market. The in-person expertise of a real estate agent will give you a more accurate opinion of your home’s value.
