Had our wedding here on 5/1/22. It was a dream come true. The Glass House is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding. Theresa and Jessica helped make our day so special and we were really able to customize what we wanted for the ceremony and reception. Feel so lucky to have found such a hidden gem and would recommend the space to anyone looking for an affordable, gorgeous venue.

Perhaps not the best views especially since we wanted to sit in the shade so our view was blocked by a giant bush, but the rest of the vineyard made up for it. My husband tried a couple of their reds, which he enjoyed and I had the mango wine slushie, which was really tasty. It was fairly busy when we got there, but the employees were all very nice. There were a few tables with umbrellas, but all were taken. Several families in the lawn had brought their own pop up tents, which I thought was a great idea. The glasshouse space was pretty cool and I would love something like that myself, but also all of the tables were taken. We also purchased a small box of their chocolates, which were quite tasty. It was the box that paired best with their whites (even though my husband had reds, he figured I would like this mix of chocolates better) - salted caramel, raspberry champagne, salted peanut butter, and Lil marg (a salted mix of tequila, orange liquor, and fresh lime juice with white chocolate). I think our favorite was the Lil marg, which actually did taste like a margarita surprisingly! Overall, a nice trip!

Glass House Winery was the most incredible venue for our wedding! The owner, Jay, and the coordinator, Theresa, were attentive and worked hard to ensure our special day was as we planned it. Peggy, the innkeeper, made sure that our stay at the Bed and Breakfast was comfortable and lovely for us and our families. The chocolates are delicious and the wine is my all time favorite. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience getting married at this beautiful winery and highly suggest all others consider it for their own wedding or for any future visits to Charlottesville/Free Union!

My husband and I had a dream weekend at The Glass House B&B. The house decor is amazing and the innkeeper made us feel at home. We had a great time visiting with the other guests over a delicious breakfast. The winery is gorgeous with tables in conservatory and beautiful grounds where you can sit and enjoy the wine. We loved the Chardonnay and were pleasantly surprised by the chocolates made at the winery as well. They were so good we bought several boxes as gifts. We could not leave without making reservations for next year!
