3 1/2 stars. Overall the winery was a nice place to stay for our anniversary. The scenery is relaxing, staff is nice and wine is good.  However Buccia has so much potential to be more...  We stayed in the honeymoon suite and our fridge did not work. It is important to note that the pics on the website show a couch in the living area. That is not accurate. There are two separate chairs. Small detail but worth mentioning.  The shower was not cleaned thoroughly. There was soap left in the shower from the previous guests with hair on it. We were accommodated and ended up moving to a smaller suite that was actually more comfortable. However, there was not a screen in the patio door. At night, the chlorine smell from the hot tub was very strong and we didn't want to open the door without a screen. I had to go to the doctor the next week from continously coughing because I inhaled so much chlorine. I was ok though...lungs were irritated. Overall, again, nice place but more attn to detail is needed to make this a great place to stay and enjoy for a night or even more! Oh and I actually liked the sound of the trains passing by!

I've been very stressed lately with work, school, and volunteer work, and this stay was just what we needed, a midweek getaway, close to home. As soon as we got there it felt like we were in another world! It was the 1st time I have been there since the new owners took over and they have done an amazing job redecorating and updating the rooms. The wine tasting was excellent, our favorite was the Riesling, and we made sure to buy a bottle to take home. Our host Cassie was simply the best, kind, friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 3, it was comfortable and beautiful, we enjoyed the hot tub very much, and sitting on the patio outside our room listening to the spring peepers. The breakfast was just perfect, fresh and delicious!

I need to post another review. I order a bottle of their Baco noir online because I enjoyed it so immensely when we were there and baco is hard to find. When my bottle arrived it tasted soured, so I contacted them to let them know in case they had other complaints. I was not worried about a replacement because based on my experience there I assumed it was something during shipping. Well a month later the owner emails me to say my replacement was on its way. The package arrived to with 2 bottles. Great wine and exceptional customer service!

We have been coming here for over 25 years, love what the new owners have done, love the wine, we came last minute because our daughter who had the room reserved could not, it had been a rough week so we thought the hot tub sounded great. We were in room #1, very disappointed in the hot tub, we wanted jets and bubbles, got some jets and nothing else. There were 3 buttons, one worked. When asked Bill said "oh that one doesn't have a blower. sorry" For the price of the rooms I think all amenities should work properly, I could have stayed home and soaked in the tub. Edit: the owner did reach out and offer us another nights stay which i appreciated
