Sad excuse of a police department. Doesn’t show up when called. This police department is an utter failure and continues to fail the city of Salinas. Useless.

You will like the salary and advantages ça and the policeman. But when a cop has to record a complaint you quickly become recalcitrant and frustrated. We all know that with you the herd mentality and the lie are above, the observance of the law and the constitutional rights of the citizens is in the background. With the help of the new technology, the true face of the misery in public institutions is shown, especially in the police.

Got T boned on Laurel and Monroe today. No injuries but the guy who T boned us took off down the steet dragging his front bumper. Lucky my car was drivable and I caught up to him down the block where he eventually pulled over after seeing me following him. I called 911 for an officer to assist me in case he took off again. I got the whole thing on dash camera. Turns out he has no registration or insurance. Then his whole family showed up in 3 other cars. Could have been a really bad situation. I called the police 3 separate times to relay my concerns over the situation I was in. Do you think Salinas police bothered to come or even contact me by phone - they did Not!!!!! 3 hours later still no police- what the f___k???? My dad was a Salinas police officer for 25 years and he would role over in his grave to see the lack of service offered today. If it were a peace officer family I bet there would have been a response. I am a health care professional and an Honest tax payer here expecting too much I guess. If there were no stars I would chose that option. Thanks Salinas Police for nothing.....
