I stopped in to purchase bottled water after a chiro visit. I was excited by the opportunity to check the store out since the one in Fremont is closing and this shopping center has all my fav stores. I am SOOO disappointed. When the doors opened the smell of decomposing food hit me in the face like a slap. I brought this to the attention of the lovely cashier attending the self service area. She said she didn't notice it but would bring it to the attention of the manager. If they couldn't smell that, they have gone completely nose blind. Also, I see in the reviews that they have been dealing with outdated products as far back as FIVE MONTHS ago. I can't shop there. I'm reporting this to Sprouts corporate office too. The Fremont and Newark Sprouts never smell like rotting food.

I like the store, you can buy so many things loose and weight it to your liking. Option are not as big as Whole Foods though but still good. Staff behind counters though need more training and better customer friendly service. While approaching counter the lady behind counter would walk away the opposite way and not help us. I was even smiling at her. Noticed few other staff members almost avoiding any interactions with customers at any cost. Almost like they don’t want to talk or deal with us. Not just with me and my husband but with other strangers around me as well.

I have been going to this store more often to mostly pickup dairy. I had bad experience today at the self checkout. I mistakenly added special pastries at checkout and I called the person at the counter for help, she reacted pretty rude by asking me loudly what I want? repeated it again loudly. I had no idea why she behaved like that. I said, hey I called you for help, but your response was very rude. She said she just came there and didn't even apologize for her bad behavior. I don't know how do I take it, does it mean I should bear with her response since she just came there. It did hurt me a lot because I just called for help and got bad response and rest of my day has been ruined. I could not leave the place and I don't want this to happen to others, so I reported this to the store main cashier and manager, they listened to me but didn't respond and apologize me for the incident. Anyway, there used to be good customer service in this store but don't expect it anymore. It happened on 3/31/22 at 9 PM.

I love this store as you get all organic food items here. I used to visit store in Sunnyvale, this time went in San Jose. Huge space with Ll varieties of food. I feel its little expensive. Staff was polite. Specially all kinds of seeds available to buy. This is the shop for fruits, I like apples from this store.
