This is a pretty cool bowling alley. The bowling balls available are great. Nobody should have a problem finding a bowling ball. The food is pretty decent and spectacular. The drinks were nice. The place is a little pricey. I happened to use Groupon. The staff was very excellent and the security downstairs was very nice too. If I was a tourist coming to New York I would go there. This place is pretty accommodating. I will be coming back for sure. The bowling shoes were pretty comfortable. They also have an arcade downstairs and one pool table near the bar.

Very fun place. We used the arcades and had a drink at the bar. Easy to overlook from the street because all of the distractions outside. Recommended!

We went there for a kids birthday party which was a blast for everyone. What a super fun place with so much to do with kids. My 5.5 years old loved bowling and all the game arcade machines. It was like Kid's casino. Kids were so happy, excited and entertained.

It is by game. They have different specials for different days but when I went it cost $7 for renting shoes and around $16 for two games.
Bowling shoes have one shoe (sole material) that grips and one shoe that slides. I don't know how they work that if you're left-handed. If you're just horsing around and don't care about your score you could wear flip-flops if they'd let you. This is a physical activity so someone can get hurt if you don't know what you're doing.
I never saw them serve alcohol to minors. While I was there I was in a closed off section with my co-workers. We were clearly all over 21 so there was no need to ask for ID.
I visited on a Sunday and the shoe rental price is $7 after 6pm I dont remember the price for bowling but it was also cheap depending on the day and time you visit Bowlmore they have "Sunday Fundays" which u can get a nice deal and have more fun.
I'm not sure either but I had such a good time...Don't go in there expecting to pay a cheap price its Time Sqaure for goodness sake. The staff was great and the food along with its presentation was amazing. They have up to date bowling equipment when compared to Chelsea. I'd be surprised if you are disappointed After your visit. There are Sunday and Monday specials listed on their website with great offers in pricing; however, being that this bowling joint is located in a tourist area, the weekends it would be better to call them directly to make reservations for your party and inquire on the pricing for Friday and Saturday.
Depending on the Bowlmor Lanes location there are several group party specials for events and there's weekly specials with great prices on Mon, Wed and Sun. You should visit the Times Square website and go to the specials page for more details and information.
Has anyone been here for NYE? I would like to go but want to be sure I can leave to see the ball drop. I don’t care about being able to get back in, I just want to be sure I’m able to get out.

Sorry. I have no idea. But if im not mistaken you need a pass or ticket in advanced of some kind to be in that area for NYE.
The price of the bowling was reasonable and the place is fun but our kids started toward the game room which then cost a lot much more than the bowling beware!!
