Worst app ever. I park in front of a store and even with location on it wants to order from 20 miles away. In terms of the personal service Starbucks is the gold standard and Peet’s is -10. However their standard roast is the best, it actually tastes like coffee while Starbucks tastes like hot milk with a little flavoring somewhere in the background.

Yet another great neighborhood bar in Peet's Coffee , and one that actually does multiple things well. Not only do they have a full bar with all the requisite drinks you'd expect, but they even offer plenty of non-boozy options like coffees, teas, and fresh juices. Moreover, as Nique F. points out, the venue is multifaceted too, with a bucolic porch in front, the primary bar and drinking area in the middle, and a more cozy section in the back. Of course, the best thing is the crowd - a diverse group of smiling, welcoming, unpretentious Oakland folks. A cool, dependable place all around. Peet's Coffee
