Absolute garbage service. Just get nigiri... their spicy tuna and salmon is just Sriracha on the fish. We were the only ones there ( party of 2) and I had to bring the menu up to the sushi chef almost every time. If you want sushi, just go to nobhill instead, you'll thank me. Fish might be bad at this place as they drown their sushi with sauce. Also budget might be tight as they left some lights off and no air conditioning. Will not be returning.

I am surprised at the other reviews of this place, but I think my focus was different than the other diners reporting here. I wasn't bringing out a digital scale to weigh up fish, or trying to stuff myself with Maki to make my All You Can Eat into a buffet bargain. I was looking for clean comfort food after pushing myself to exhaustion over the last couple of days. I ordered the Tantan Ramen, with an extra portion of Chashu Pork, and an Ebi Sunomono salad (cucumber and sliced shrimp). Honestly, I was very well satisfied. The ramen was spicy, hearty, and chock a block with corn and noodles, pork, fish cakes, and egg. The cucumber salad was brightly sauced, evenly and thinly sliced, properly pickled and refreshing, without any bitter notes. The food made me happy on a day when I just needed to be warmed and filled, and though I wasn't counting the cost, I walked out for $40, thirty to the restaurant and ten to the waiter, and I was happy. That's what I want from food, to be happy. What do you want?

I don't understand all the hate in this restaurant. Yes each time we ordered a new round it took 10 to 15min..but I appreciated it because it would let my food settle for the next round. The baked rolls where very good..however they did taste similar. The fried crab was delicious, and the calamari was thin and good. The nigori and surf clam where not best but not the worst as well. It was very empty, so our service was quick. The server was on top of it and we didn't have issues. Yes, the price was $50 AYCE , which is pretty pricy considering everything they don't offer, so thats why its down to 3 stars. First time for my visit I am content. Would I go back ? I think I would stick to Kenzo sushi, or Tokyo sushi in Berryessa for sushi. Thank you guys.

Worst AYCE sushi -Stay away! I should have read the other review before I go. For $50 per person AYCE, the best food I had for the night from the menu was fried imitation crab. Most of the menu is about rolls, very little protein or seafood options - only chicken is available as appetizer protein, and also very poortly cooked with heavy oil and sauce. They just hide all other good stuff from the AYCE menu. And about the rolls -as you can see from the picture, fully packed with rice and very little ingredients. Fishes are definitely no where near 'fresh' or 'delicious' - you can tell from the color and moisture. Waitress will tell you order no more than 3 'items' per round - 1 bowl of miso soup or 1 piece of yakitori skewer is considered 1 item. And the serving is slow. Overall, they might have ok 'to go' or normal menu, but the AYCE for the price is disastrous. Will never come back again.

I don't think the all you can eat has a time frame as I've been there during different hours and different days
We currently don’t have AYCE for now
