I can't say enough about how delicious the food and drinks were & what an awesome experience we had celebrating a birthday here! Kim especially made us feel like we were regulars and old friends as we sipped our gorgeous crafted cocktails & gobbled down tapas, a platter, & desert. The value was also fantastic. While everyone in the Bay area charges at least $15 for a cocktail, these were actually well worth the price. I'd especially recommend the milk punch & the Sobre Mesa cocktail. We also noticed that each of the cocktails we tried paired beautifully with every bite on the menu. Kim, we may not have started as regulars, but I see that in our futures! Thanks to the whole team over there for helping us celebrate in style!

Walk in for 2 on a Saturday night and we got seated rightaway. Service was warm. Food came out quick. Empanadas were crispy, but not greasy. Plantains were complex in a good way. Broccolini had a kick.

Probably one of my favorite places in Oakland now! 3 of us came to celebrate a birthday and we got lucky around prime time for bar seating as we did not have a reservation. Parking is street and you probably already know how bad it is anyways for downtown Oakland. The interior design of the place was done well! The bar area was my favorite. Our bartender / server, Devin, was the best. He was very friendly and knowledgeable with the drink options. We were able to figure out which drinks we wanted and I got to experience two new whiskeys that I ended up really loving. The beef empanadas were top notch. I've yet to have empanadas as crispy as theirs that isn't too thick of a dough or heavy! The bone marrow... I'm salivating just thinking about how delicious that was, especially paired with the sourdough. The ahi tuna was really fresh, a group favorite. The only thing that didn't do it for us was the duck pate. Cheers and shoutout to Devin (hopefully I'm spelling it correctly) He definitely enhanced our first experience here!

What a great find! My friend took me here last week when it was like 90 degrees outside, you walk in and the atmosphere completely changes to this rainforest vibe. Recommend any of the drinks of the menu, do not order any standard drinks, you need to try out their mix cocktails. Anything off the menu is recommended.
