I loved the dorms and I'm saddened by the outbreak in 2020 cutting short my room and board at Cal. Truly a wonderful experience and the best time in my life so far. Unit 1 (Deutsch) was where I stayed and it is one of my favorites of all the unit's -- it tends to be the most social and sometimes the wildest one amongst the units (Foothill and other halls included). If I didn't become a sophomore and didn't have to get an apartment, I'd be happy to live here. I highly recommend living in the dorms, especially in unit 1, for incoming freshmen.

In slottman, the rooms are fairly big since they're minisuites, and it is better than a lot of other college dorms. However, some parts of it could use remodeling

Tiny room and prison like ceiling. Still a lot of fun to live in the dorms though.
