We had our University of Michigan AUA Nesbit reception here and let me just say the serving staff was phenomenal, the food exceeded my expectations and the venue is all around gorgeous nice decor they gave special attention to the colors and branding of the UofM Nesbit which was a great hit to the alumni. I would highly recommend this location to anyone planning an event in New Orleans and I would certainly place The Jaxson on the River on the top of any list. Anthony and Lane created a fun yet very professional atmosphere for the guest. I can't say enough about the Jaxson. They even had Sheriffs placed at both entrances to ensure we had no crashers. We just attended our first New Orleans wedding! Everything about the Jaxson was perfect and exceeded my expectations. Everyone loved the food a modern twist on New Orleans cuisine. I have never danced and enjoyed a band more than the one at this wedding. Worth every penny vs having a DJ. The dance floor was always packed. The 2nd line at the end of the evening topped everything off! Well planned out! Thank you Terry and Lane for such a memorable evening in New Orleans.

I attended a wedding and reception at the Jaxson last weekend. It was a beautiful venue with a great view of the Mississippi river. The Jaxson is a perfect size for a smaller wedding. The staff were friendly, the food was amazing, and I felt safe with the security in place at the entrances!

The Jaxson and their team are 1st rate. They pay attention to detail. Our experience there for a recent wedding was phenomenal. Everyone in attendance raved about the food.
