I agree with Casey K. I interviewed for a job in the accounting department of Volunteers of America a few weeks ago with Sarah the accounting manager and John their staff accountant. They were condescending to me the entire time. When I asked why the position was open at this time I was told a long, elaborate story and in the end they basically said that they weren’t hiring the temp that was currently in the position because she missed the application deadline. This sounded like a lie to me and I think there was a lot more to it than what they admitted to. They also made it sound like I would be called for a second interview, which I wasn’t and I still haven’t heard from them and it’s been at least two weeks since my interview. I have no interest in working for them so I’m glad I haven’t heard from them.

To get into VOA WRC ( Volunteers of America Women's Residential center) you will need a referral from you PO. No you do NOT contact Theresa Willet or Voneda Fullerton! The intake coordinator must have that referral from the PO. VOA WRC is all coreection based. You also have to have a certain amount of probation too. I worked at VOA WRC. You will also have to attend a wait list every Monday at 4pm. When your PO puts that referral in contact Tamika who is the intake coordinator.
