Enjoyed the tour of the Oak Alley Plantation. George was informative and entertaining and gave a brief history of the plantation and the area. We enjoyed the dvd presentation we watched to and from. Loved walking through living history and learning about the slaves that made it all happen.

We did our tours in August 2018 : Swamp & bayou tour and a double plantation tour : Laura and Whitney. We really enjoyed our tours and the coach trips were very interesting. We took and touch a baby alligator I didn’t know its skin was so soft! We saw few alligators. The guide was very acknowledgeable about the history of New-Orleans. The bayou is so big it was impressive. The next day we started our tour with Whitney it was very hot they provided umbrellas. Most parts of the tour was outside but we still enjoyed our tour. When we went to Laura it rained a lot fortunately most parts of the visit was inside lol. I loved the plantation tours as French with a Senegalese background we knew almost nothing about slavery in US. Reading few slaves’ last names from Senegal was moving Unfortunately the break after the Whitney tour was not long enough we did not have time to speak enough with the manager who arrived when we had to leave. I had so many questions to ask as he worked there and came from Senegal. His experience is unique. After Laura tour the break was too long we waited about 45 minutes or more before the coach driver picked us. We were understanding he had different groups to drop off and pick up. Overall a great experience!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! It was a terrible experience that started with a 45 minute line for cocktails which caused us to miss the departing celebration and view. Next, we were instructed to proceed to the dining deck at 7:45 for a seated buffet. No one facilitated the dinner line so it resulted in rude groups of men cutting in front of other guest and a longer wait time. Once we finally reached the hostess stand we were told to walk around and find seats because they could not accommodate a table of four. Of course we protested stating this was unacceptable and not what we paid for!! After waiting an additional 15 minutes we were told to take the elevator up to the second deck where a buffet will be available. NOT TRUE!! Tables and chairs were thrown together for the overbooked passengers, we were served what was left from the buffet without asking our preferences. Most of the food was no longer available and our plates did not contain the advertised menu. Let me also mention that the food was bland. Due to the dinner fiasco, we finished eating as everyone was departing the boat and we did not get the opportunity to enjoy the jazz band. A lot of money was wasted on a bad experience to include $43 for parking. I have no problems paying for fun and worthy events but this is one that I will never repeat!!!

This tour to the Whitney Plantation through Gray Line was great! The meet up location was easy to find. Our guide/driver, Alton, was prompt and informative. He had good energy. We learned a lot from him on the ride before and after the actual plantation. The plantation was as I imagined. The staff there was kind. The audio tour allowed us to go at our own pace. It was a thorough account of everything we saw. I would recommend anyone to visit at least once. We also were able to drive pass other plantations. It was worth the time…

Yes, absolutely. recommend a small size stroller if needed. There is an elevator for the first three decks but does not reach the rooftop.
Yes there is plenty of parking near the tour bus. Parking is expensive though.
You can take a taxi or Uber after the cruise. It was in walking distance to Canal Street for the trolley
Hi Darryl, You are able to drive to most of the locations we offer transportation to. You can simply purchase a ticket from the attraction once you arrive. Hope this helps!
Yes they do have those tours. I went on that one.

Hello, yes we offer Swamp & Bayou tours year around. December in New Orleans is normally comfortable for outdoor activities and makes for a relaxing experience on the water. However, the wildlife during this time are much less active than during summer months. Please feel free to call our call center at 1-800-233-2628 for further information on our swamp products. Thank you for reaching out!
Not sure, I would think so or call ahead and request one maybe with a ramp..I've been on airport shuttles that were handicapped accessible ...good luck, hope that helped some
The bus we rode on was equipped with a toilet but was not in service. Not sure why, also this was a short tour. Sorry to be vague and not provide a certain answer.
