My wife and I applied for temporary residency visas. We were somewhat concerned about the process, but everything went smoothly. Monica was very helpful and answered all our questions. There was even convenient parking above the consulate.
TOUGHJOBS SERVICES
In the past we have a bad experience with the Atlanta Georgia consul. New Orleans Mexican consul was an great experience with them today. Security staff very professional, the staff they're treating people the right way! I'll given 5 stars!!

This place was very nice. Through speaking with an employee, I could tell that the people there are supportive in helping the community with their specific needs. I understand the hardship some families go through when trying to do simple things in a country where they don't speak the native language. Bless all the individuals at the place for helping others!

Great!!! Quick and efficient service. Secured our permanent visas (yay) in about an hour. Monica was a pleasure and is such a great ambassador for Mexico. Everyone in the room seemed to be getting things taken care of pretty quickly....constant movement. Overall, a good consulate.

https://consulmex.sre.gob.mx/detroit/index.php/tramites/matriculases It's from Detroit but it's the same price
I'm not sure but you can call and maybe you can but that if I could not know exactly.
Crossing the border iwithout papers is a crime. .
Friend, you can go early without an appointment, I did it and if they were able to serve me that, yes, they wait for you for a while because they give preference to appointments I hope it serves you good day
Yes, they deliver it the same day and it is very fast ...
Yamando
No, they take the photo there
Hello, I just renewed it, and only take the old one, the expired one; and if you have changed your address, bring a recent proof of address.

Well, they do not allow only people with appointment to enter but like him, a bb chanse and if you can talk and ask for more information since here we can give you many answers and you will remain the same, talk so quickly
I only brought my old passport and my birth certificate. On the consulate page there are more documents that you might need. You have to make an appointment on the mexitel page.
I paid in cash
It has to be done in the website using the New Orleans consulate page.
I will say the first thing you have to do is go to the consulate and check the requirements to live in Mexico.
Yes, go to the website and see required documents.
Yes you can but you should be make appointment before and they let you know what documents needed for get I.D
The old passport and a receipt saying your address and a valid photo ID.
If you have to make an appointment. And when they take out if they appointment there they tell you that you will take
I can download my birth certificate
I do not know, I did not see any ad
In the same day
Ok thank you I have a birth certificate and a copy of the voter card of Mexico and the house contract that I rent here in Harvey Louisiana with that can I process my passport?
Police certificate? Not sure Birth certificate yes you get it the same day.
Hi, Claudia Camacho, I'm not very clear with your question, but if you want to know how long it takes after your husband filled the OP7 it takes a week to get to the consulate that he sent, but the best thing to do is to speak to the consulate to verify that they already have it.
What are you going to process?
A Purchase of address your passport and ID
You just have to preface your passport with an ID that you have and a light or water residue that is in your name and if it is much better.
I suggest you contact the Department of Consulate Protection. I am copying a link about the information you are looking for. It is not the same consulate, but the same procedure: https://consulmex.sre.gob.mx/sanfrancisco/index.php/2016-04-07-00-50-51/cartas-de-datos-registrales-y-certificados-de-no- antenas-penales
To my knowledge, if the appointment is required. I suggest checking. Apostilles are obtained at another office of the US government. Take into account that if the power of attorney is to be used in Mexico, that of the consulate does not require an apostille, but if it is from a US notary, then it does require an apostille.
Call to the Office
$ 74 for 3 years, $ 101 for 6 years and $ 134 for 10 years
In the consulate they already take your photos
The previous answers are incorrect, please consult the correct information on the Consulate website: https://consulmex.sre.gob.mx/nuevaorleans/index.php/2016-04-12-19-28-45/documentacion/pasaportes

The requirements for a residency in Mexico, almost the same as you require to be an American ... but without the racist prerogatives and restrictions ...
Thank you very much for your confirmation. You are appreciated

For the registration, your passport and a photo ID, and for the passport proof of address, birth certificate, photo identification, (military card, school document, driver's license, professional identification,)
You need to bring your previous document, passport and registration, and a proof of address in your name if you have changed your address, and finally you need to make your appointment at Mexitel or at 1 877 639 4835
With whom?
If you are only going to renew it, you only need to take with you the passport and a bill whatever you want, only that it is in your name and you have the address of where you are currently living
Report it lost and you have to go to have another
Birth certificate address where you live and a bill to your name.
Call the consulate so they can give you that information
The voter's credential birth certificate or your consular registration.
If you only need a record. You do not need an appointment just to send it to them by fax and they give it to you but if you are going to do passport processing if you need your record to be original
Very sick and the worst if one goes without an appointment does not attend to one
When you file for the first time you have to take the original birth certificate and if you send it to mexico do not lose the envelope in which the minutes arrived because that will serbira because you have your address that you can present to greetings and luck
I would like alludarte but not the truth.
Whatever you want, you can go to the consulate and you can go there
