Really great place. There are jumps from a foot to approximately 25 feet. Preregistration is required to get a wristband; parking is $15. The quarry is about 70 feet deep, but look before you jump—primarily for other swimmers. It’s pretty family friendly. This was originally a marble quarry that supplied marble for the New York Public Library, among other buildings.

My brother and I still like the high jumps and dives. 70 and 67 years young. What we don't like is the bottom coming at us fast and this is very deep. Also easy to exit unlike a few places that are difficult to climb back up like Frenchman's hole in Maine. Very clean, nice lawn area and lots of ledges to hang out on. Water is like bath water. NOT! Enjoy yourself at the quarries!

Very nice. This is first marble quarry in us.

Even though we didn't come to swim, we enjoyed just walking around and looking at the old quarry (and watching all the people diving into the water). And there is a good amount of parking off the road for those who want to make the stop.

It's open:)
Yes as far as I could tell. There weren't any signs.
I was there 8 days ago, all was for free and I was swimming there in turquoise water. Just don't go there to early or too late. They got free parking there... Also, try to visit Dorset hotel restaurant in 200 old house, it is minute driving from Quarry..
Sure will bud
I believe it is closed for that. As it is privately owned. There is a quarry in Wallingford that may be able to help
I don't know. I can't swim...but it beautiful
Hmmm...I don't know anything about that. I've only ever seen it open to public or closed
Closed to the public. It was always private land that was open to the public graciously. I was there last week and it was gated and posted. It's definitely closed snd you will be trespassing.
It was closed when I went 3 weeks ago. It might be open now. We ended up at emerald lake state park which was pretty nice.
They had closed temporarily because there had been some COV-ID cases in the area, and it's technically on private property. I'm not positive that they're open again.
I was there yesterday, its closed, sheriff posted by the gate wasn't letting anyone in. Doesn't seem like it'd be open again anytime soon
No I went yesterday and their closed with a cop sitting at the parking due to Manchester outbreak.. but the cop helped us find another swimming hole.
10.00 but is worth it.
A huge investment is being made to enhance the area between the Quarry property and the highway. It will become a town park with increased area for picnicking and play and additional parking.
Yes, I have visited many times and many, mostly well-socialized dogs have been there.
Thats one of the smaller cliffs to jump off the highest one is 34 foot but there are more rocks over on that end and where most people end up getting hurt. And so u all know ive been there many times and saw someone get hurt. professionals takes about 20 to 25 minutes for help to arrive. Beautiful place to hang out for the day and lots of people all summer long. Enjoy and be careful.
As of last year, yes. The upcoming year may change
