What a great decision it was eight and one half years ago to move to Orchard Cove Independent living. It has exceeded my expectations in many ways. The grounds are beautiful and set in a location overlooking a pond that is a welcoming vista for outdoor walking or sitting. The indoor facilities, including a fitness center and pool are inviting and help to keep us healthy. The 4 dining venues are attractive and serve well-prepared and delicious food. Afternoon and evening activities are varied and most enjoyable. The staff is competent, friendly and caters to all our needs.

I have lived in a comfortable, pleasant one-bedroom apartment with a screened porch in the Independent Living section of Orchard Cove for four+ years. I like that, living here, I can have both as much privacy and as much companionship as I want. I like the largely wooded area on which I can take my daily walks. I like that the community is well-run and well-kept and that residents here are welcoming and friendly.

Yes. Our exceptional interdisciplinary team of geriatricians, nurse practitioners, nursing assistants, rehabilitation specialists, and social workers provide rehabilitative care centered on the specific needs of each patient we serve.
When moving to independent living at Orchard Cove, residents pay an entrance fee similar to the cost of a comparable home in the area, which is then 90 percent refundable to them or their estate when leaving the community. Additionally, residents pay a monthly fee that covers the all-inclusive lifestyle Orchard Cove provides.
