Called (spectrum corporate 800 number) to cancel service due to life events. Spent 10 minutes getting upsold on products and services I didn't want. (Spectrum gets 0 stars) Went into the store to drop off a rented modem and expected the same spiel. I talked with Lance and got everything sorted in a matter of minutes while also having a fantastic conversation with a really fun and kind guy. Spectrum (corporate) sucks in general but some of the local employees are top notch people person's. Good luck Lance! Hope you can make it to the Coast some day!

I walked in to discuss the ending of my 1 year pricing. It jumped up from $65 to $80/ month (Weird that the reward for continuing business is a 20% increase in price, promotion or not). I went in to see if they could do something to lower the price because I noted the local competition offered equal internet speed for $70/month. The sales rep who addressed me seemed annoyed that I was there. When I mentioned Id like to stay with them if they could help with the price or I would likely change service. He just shrugged and said Then just do that.... Great advice dude, I sure will. Rude sales rep, lame pricing structures, later!

Spectrum services are very bad and their support is worse. Several times during my service with them my services dropped for hours at a time. Due to these issues I called them to terminate my service and after waiting 30 minutes someone answered who mumble-spoke into the phone and refused to speak louder. Once we finally established dialogue the asked me to repeat my address 5 times and recount a 'security code' I've used once during creation of my account months earlier. After all of this, they told me that they could not stop service to my account unless I called later. Unbelievable. I asked if they had a survey or a manager and they said "I honestly have no idea."

I had one very helpful person and two out three incredibly frustrating visits, plus three long support phone calls. If there were any alternative for high-speed internet, I would use it. I am giving two stars to the determined people who try to help the customers (Javier, you were great). The technical service stinks, though. I had to replace our modem but was given a modem incompatible with our service. After I picked up a new modem, it turned out our router wasn't working either. We started service one year ago, and already both aren't working AND I had to go back three times-- and it's still not working. Soonest tech visit was three days away. If your modem isn't working, I recommend you bring in modem and router and cable to ask them to replace all at once to try to save you some of this waste of time. I can't do my job and have wasted over five hours on the situation already, with no solutions.

Should be in the manual for the remote. If not you could call charter or check for documentation online.

I believe the office is open until 5:30 pm on week days and open on Saturday too but I'm not sure what the hours are.
