I’ve been at Starr Studios for about four years now, and it is seriously one of the most welcoming and loving communities I have been a part of so far. I have made such amazing friendships with the other girls and my time at Starr has been nothing but positive! Coming from multiple other studios I had never found a place to do what I love in a caring and friendly environment, and I found that place at Starr. I was instantly welcomed and treated like I had been there for years, and overall it has been so awesome and crazy! The teachers are extremely experienced and know how to teach very well, and will help you out no matter what :)

We first came to Starr Studios in 2016 when my oldest child was 3. It was her first successful social encounter because the teachers there treated her so respectfully as a sensitive human. We unfortunately moved out of state in 2017, but both of my children continued dancing in the interim, filled with the spirit of what they had grown to love at Starr. When we returned to Oregon in 2021, we had no doubt in our minds where we wanted to be: Starr Studios! We’ve tried or enrolled in around a dozen classes in our time there and they’re all great, you just have to pick what best fits your dancer. The teachers are phenomenal - even the newest additions are expertly prepared to meet your children in the studio and send them home having learned something new in an enjoyable way. I recommend Starr Studios to everyone I can, because I truly believe everyone can find a place there.

After COVID happened, I took my daughter out of daycare and started working remote. After about a year of minimal socialization, my daughter became really shy. I began taking my daughter to Starr Studios for the Twirl and Twinkle class. For the first several sessions, my daughter would only dance with me in the classroom. Slowly but surely, she was able to dance in the class without me in there. I’ve watched her confidence and socialization grow through dance at this school. Serenity, Ally, and Jade are extremely patient. They work hard to create a warm, inviting, fun and safe atmosphere for all their students. I appreciate how they have positively influenced my daughters life. I highly recommend this dance school.

My daughter has been taking the toddlers tap class (spin and sparkle) for about 6 months, she was an extremely shy 3 year old, thanks to the support of Serenity and the other fabulous patient and encouraging teachers at Starr Studio my daughter has really blossomed her social skills and looks forward to sharing a story with her teacher and getting some wiggles out each week. We really appreciate the fun, flexible and enjoyable atmosphere Starr Studio provides for young dancers and their parents!
