45 has one of the biggest menus I've seen for such a well established restaurant. Most similarly successful restaurants have small menus. Needless to say, everyone will find something they like here. The seafood is fresh (as is all the other food). The prices can seem high, but the portions are generally big, you get your money's worth. Be aware that they use a lot of butter here, it makes the food tasty but isn't great if you are watching your cholesterol. The interior is well lit with great decor. Most of the seating is booth style, but large parties will be seated at long tables. There is also an outdoor patio with lots of shade that is great for those who like to eat outside. The staff here is super friendly, and they give great recommendations for the specials etc. I highly recommend the sirloin for dinner, and the peanut butter pie for dessert. Some light criticisms are that the bread served as a pre meal complimentary snack is served only with butter. An oil dip or higher quality bread would be nice, given the price point of the meals. The kitchen is also prone to forgetting to make requested adjustments, or giving the wrong sides with your meal. They are quick to fix things, but getting it right the first time would be an improvement. If you get the standard sides and don't request alterations to your dish, this won't be an issue. We experience a mistake maybe 1/3 of the time we visit.

We had a post-funeral luncheon here (7/22/22) and everything was outstanding. Staff was able to put together a varied and delicious buffet on short notice, and the two waitresses (sorry I didn't get names) were amazingly efficient and personable. Lovely place, highly recommended!

Layout was a bit confusing, we came in the back way into the bar area attached to the outdoor patio/deck instead of the main restaurant entrance. The bar area is cozy and the bartenders were awesome, the food was unreal too! I specifically recommend the mac and cheese balls, they're like arancini but better!

Food was amazing. Staff superb. The place is a little pricey but worth it every once and awhile.

Lobster rolls are currently on the menu being served lunch and dinner until Labor Day.
It would definitely be a private function. A bridal shower. How many people does the function room hold? And what kind of brunch food would be offered?

Mary, Half of the town lost power. Your meals were consumed and payment is expected for meals you ate. We offered you some compensation on your return visit when your friends called which we thought was fair. I'm sorry you don't agree and instead chose to take your grievances out on the internet.
