I had an appendectomy yesterday, and the whole team had been wonderful! The ER crew, the surgeon, the nurses and techs have all been so kind and light hearted. I was very scared, but they took such good care of me. I have been pleasantly surprised. Plus, the food is delicious! Thank you so much BMH!

Went to the ER for what was unknown to me at the time, a hemorrhagic cyst. After waiting in the hallway after being admitted for hours, I was met with a very exasperated and unkind ultrasound technician. When I told her I had prior history of trauma and vaginismus, and that I'd like a smaller speculum, she didn't even know they came in different sizes. Atop all that, I mean, I get that it made you stay at work a few minutes over, but to be so flipping callous to me about it? She didn't believe me until I was shaking and crying during the entire exam, during which she told me "You need to relax". Girl, are they just accepting anyone into the medical field now? The muscles down there don't relax, thats 50% of my issue. I'll go over the river to Keene should I ever have the misfortune of being in that much pain again. Absolutely never again.

This is two separate peoples experience mine and my friends elderly mom: I went back in the beginning of December for kidney pain and I was there 5hrs no fluids or water given to me. And I asked. I told them that the IV was to big they were using and they didn’t listen, she made a little pool of blood on the bed and three blankets. Told me I was wrong about my pain and just sent me away. Second time was yesterday. His mom was there 24th in the same stretched same clothes same diaper everything. Gave her 2 small cups of water no fluids. Didn’t give her the meds she takes and just sent her home where both the caretaker and her felt unsafe. They didn’t listen they didn’t care.
