Coquille Valley Hospital: Emergency Room

After waiting for an hour with my dad having a diabetic emergency we ended up leaving. The only person we were able to talk to was the security guard that took our temperature. The cramped us in a room the size of a walk in closet. One lady in there was obviously having difficulty breathing even while on oxygen. She told of her story how Bay Area Hospital discharging her with pneumonia only to tell her to go back to an E.R. So we are cramped in a room with the poor lady not being able to breathe and nobody even came out to check on her at least. I'm not asking for her to be dragged back immediately, even though she needed it. They didn't even check her oxygen levels to make sure she was ok to wait. So she is having trouble breathing and cant keep her mask on, exposing us to pneumonia in a broom closet with no one even checking on what's going on in the broom closet we were shoved in to at least check on her and let us know we were not being forgotten in there, that someone will be helping us shortly, or that it is busy right now, it will be a little wait, but we will get to you. I dont know what's wrong with the hospital's in this area but they all suck. Yes North Bend Medical Center, Bay area Hospital, and Coquille Valley I am looking at you I have never seen a more poorly run emergency system in my life. I am a firefighter too, and 9 times out of 10 these hospitals will try to pass you off to the others. Someone needs to clean house and get people in there that at least give a damn. Horrible hospital and hospitals in this area. I feel sorry for each and every patient that goes to these places for care.
