Love the cabin. Love the look and sound of nature. Owners especially Keith is very responsive and acts right away! Very friendly. My dog Iggy loves to play out in the wild! Very pet-friendly

Ripped off a months rent! In the middle of BFE , with no phone service, without water and not enough electricity. Definitely you risk your life every time you go down the long road to town. You will also be lucky not to tear the back end of your camper off when pulling into the campground when you first arrive to only then try to overcome the huge task of trying not to get stuck in a mud pit! Over all it isn’t a place that I recommend for anyone to take a chance on staying! Not one bit of this I stated here is false.. There are many campgrounds in the area to stay. They are all the better choice .

UPDATE: my husband and I moved out of the cabin 10 days early and left the cabin cleaner than how we found it. We just found out that these jerks REFUSE TO GIVE A PRO RATED AMOUNT BACK!!!! Don’t move out early unless you want them to just take your money. Yes. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR EFFING MONEY! $350 of ours to be exact!!!!! And we had a LARGE number of issues while we lived there so we were already fed up when we got no help, now we’re even more pissed because they made a CROOKED financial gain off of us. Our review before we moved out: Although the park is beautiful, my husband and I constantly have issues with our cabin, and other tenants have problems as well: 1. Our A/C unit is located above one of two electrical outlets in the living room (both of which are overloaded) and it drips condensation on the outlet. Yeah, super safe. 2. Our stove caught on fire and there was NO FIRE EXTINGUISHER located in the cabin. Thank God my neighbors had one or the cabin, all of mine and my husbands things and possibly our lives could have gone up in flames. 3. I informed the owners that there was no fire extinguisher located in the cabin, and they casually responded “well, someone must have stolen it.” I was under the impression that all these cabins were inventoried before new tenants moved in. Guess not. Not to mention that was one hell of a code violation and a law suit waiting to happen. 4. There is NO cell service out here so we have to use WiFi to text and FaceTime through other iPhones. Which isn’t a big deal unless (see number 5)... 5. The WiFi SUCKS. I’m not some internet dependent idiot, but when my means of communication depend on WiFi, we have a problem when it doesn’t work. 6. The people that live in campers battle power outages every week. The owner has 10-12 campers running on ONE electrical circuit. People come home from work exhausted only to find that their camper is hot and their food has gone bad for the lack of power all day. Do not be surprised if you move in and your electrical cord sparks because it’s hooked to an overloaded outlet. 7. My husband and I pay $1100 month (the same as everyone else) to rent the smallest cabin here. There are bigger cabins for the exact same price. This is unfair. The owners say “all the cabins are priced the same.” Our cabin used to be the office, and is still advertised as such. So I constantly have people just walking right in, asking if this is “the office”. The owners live across the street and do not have any type of sign up saying “THIS IS THE STATTS MILLS CAMP GROUND OFFICE”. 8. When a problem is brought to the attention of the owners, the usually respond with “well no one has EVER complained of that happening before!!” Or they’ll say “we’re busy right now.” And brush your problems off. This solves nothing. There is very little concern expressed from the owners about the tenants well being and concerns. When my oven caught on fire, they did not ask if I was ok. Many other people like myself that live here pay $1100 a month to live here. I expect my problems with the house I’m living in, or any problem at the park for that matter, to be a top priority. Which in most cases, it is not. My oven has still not been repaired after 9 days. 9. The cabin was dirty when we moved in, specially the toilet. My husband and I were expecting to move into a clean cabin. Nope! 10. The air filter in our A/C unit was also disgusting. My husband and I noticed that we kept having severe allergy issues that were making us sick while living at the cabin, so we decided to look at the air filter. It was covered in black spots, which to me initially signaled “mold”. The owner once again said “well no one has EVER complained of mold before!! It’s probably just dirt.” I’ve never really seen black dirt before, but you get the picture. Not sure if it was dirt or mold but it still ticked me off that I had to resolve the issue myself. When living here, expect to manage the problems you encounter yourself. Do not expect help that should be given from the owners.

Nice for paddling, not sure about the fishing but that's probably good to. The further you keep getting from the boat ramp the prettier it gets, if you head left of the put in to where it starts looking more like a big Creek it looks a lot nicer and cleaner to get out for swimming.

I don't know or have any information on the bathrooms; it was late fall when I was there to ask about the location of another place nearby.
