My mom fell and broke her hip,had surgery and was sent to clapps home-rehab for rehabilitation. They were nice to her and would even give her a phone to call anytime of the night and with her dementia that was just great. We visited her every day except a few due to another family member in the hospital. My mom contracted C-Diff(highly contagious infection) and they were kind enough to send her home with it.They said they tested her.We picked her up on a Saturday morning and she had chronic diarrhea immediately upon arrival at home.It cost us 2 trips to the ER and 1 trip to an urgent care.along with 24 hour care getting her to the bathroom. She had no appetite, but, that didn't stop the kindness of clapps.they gave her boost drinks and confirmed to us she was eating good.We couldn't get her to eat from the minute she came home. But the kindness didn't stop there...we never received the in home health care they said they would setup or the in home nurses care that they said they would setup. We still haven't seen that. They even went so far as to not answer the phone except to transfer us to a voicemail for 3 days. That kindness required me to have to drive to the facility to actually talk to some kind person. The moral to the story is; beware of wolves in sheep's clothing.

Very happy with this facility! When we were first looking for a place for my mothers rehabilitation we were cautious especially since some places did not have good reviews. But we visited this place and it seemed very nice. My mother was there for almost two weeks and was treated very well. Would definitely recommend this facility. Thanks to everyone for making my mother feel comfortable.

Questions & Answers

How are the staff with the patients there? I do know how some facilities are with patients. Looks can be deceiving!!! I hate it so bad for the patients that aren't at a wonderfully great and compassionate place to be took great care of

Both of my parents have stayed there multiple times for rehab, they have been very good with them.
