This park is huge. It has a public restroom and is handicap accessible. Plenty of parking spots. Great for picnics... Bring extra for all the squirrels and the coi fish. It is very well shaded and has several benches for resting. Great place for walking or jogging. In the winter it is beautiful they decorate it for Christmas. Great place to go and relaxx and let the kids have fun.

Great wide concrete walking path around the whole park. I don't know if it's 1.1 miles around or 1.25 miles around but it's very nice all four seasons! During the Christmas Season they decorate it up very nice!!!

Yes and a dog park, baseball field, tennis, swing and jungle gym area, picnic tables, soccer field, pond with fountains, sky map and more! Nice park overall in comparison to Ridder Park in Huntington, WV or what's left of a park in Ironton, OH but personally being originally from Columbus Ohio where there are several amazing parks with tons of activities for families...Ashland Park is a decent attempt to make any family outing, family reunion, a walk with the dogs or just fun with the kiddos! Id say not without prior approval and even then the donated fish would require inspection.
They are tearing down the fenced in kids area and putting up new playground equipment. The pond, they drain and clean every once in a while.
They have been putting them up,but haven't lit them yet... probably Thanksgiving???
