I don't want to share this hidden gem because one of the things I love about it is the lack of crowds, but George Hill is one of the best local orchards. The people who own and run it are very kind and laid back. They have a variety of apples, plus peaches, blueberries, pumpkins and probably some others. They also have a gorgeous property that's great to stroll around and enjoy peacefully on a nice day. Plus, there are a few animals to visit (goats and sheep), which the kids always enjoy. An excellent place to take a family apple picking! Unfortunately, this season's apple crop is not very good due to the weather we've had. I can also say that the blueberry picking earlier in the season was nothing short of awesome, so many to pick and the berries were jumbo!

Worth the ride to this beautiful location and meticulously cared for orchards and fields. The fruit was tasty and the host family was very helpful. Prices are very reasonable. Great place for the family.
