They have new furniture and layout so it isn't as homey, but it's still the place to go get a good book and sit and read a bit away from the hustle n bustle of life. The staff is extremely helpful a d the coffee shop is great too!

I go to Barnes and Noble at least once a week, and in the past 5 years or so, I’ve never had a bad experience there. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and helpful. They have a plethora of books to choose from (from pretty much any genre), and if they don’t have it, they’re almost always able to order it. If you’re not sure what to look at, they're always willing to give recommendations, too! The store is always clean and well stocked (even in the toy aisles, which is impressive to me). Definitely recommend getting the membership if you shop there a lot. By far my favorite store in Augusta (based on the atmosphere, the merchandise, the customer service, etc). 10/10 recommend.

2022-05: The store is well kept and stocked. They have all the usual sections/types of books you would imagine, plus journals galore, DVD's, some toys, gadgets, in-store cafe, expanded vinyl selection, and more. The employees I interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Be sure to check their website for current deals/promotions as well as virtual and in-store events. (They have a "Wacky Wednesday Storytime" every week and "Page Turners Book Club" monthly).

I have been here a few times. It a great and clean place. And they have Starbucks which is a plus. Whenever I come here I always have my kids so it never a miss to go to the kids section which has so much vary and I always let them take a book so we can buy it when we are done with the visit. We recently bought a 1000 piece puzzle. Kid you not it is a lot but it has kept us busy for almost a week so far, still not done though. We have bought a few adult books which I have been reading and getting interested with these stories. I would most definitely recommend this pace to anybody. I will be going back and whenever I go to the mall as well.

Masks were worn. There are stickers on the floor for social distancing when standing in line and there are dividers at the register.

Unfortunately there's not much of a market for International views in Augusta GA.. The locals prefer more of an echo chamber down here. B&N in Atlanta all have significantly more complete offerings.
