Overall, the Amramp experience was positive. The ramps were installed within a few days and were uninstalled just as quickly. They are solid, well-built ramps that made life easier for my parents. The company could do a better job of communicating, however. When I first called, I played phone tag with the sales rep for a few days, and once I did speak with him, he was very pleasant but abrupt and somewhat disorganized. When my parents called to have the ramps removed, they were told it would be a few days, only to have the team show up unexpectedly because they were in the area. These are minor points, and the Amramp experience was a good one. I would recommend them to anyone in need of temporary wheelchair ramps.

I usually don't write reviews for companies but had to share our recent experience with Amramp Boston. We reached out to Amramp Boston because we were in need of a temporary ramp to assist the matriarch of our family. They came out measured the area at the location she had wanted it and came back a few days later for the install. From the initial phone call to the final install we expierenced great customer service with every employee we had dealings with. Highly recommend Amramp Boston for anyone in need of a ramp.

AmRamp was amazing from start to finish. I requested a quote for a handicapped ramp, received a phone call that day, and they were at my house the next business day. I received my quote that evening and they installed the ramp in a matter of weeks. It took less than a few hours to install. The ramp has been a great addition, was done perfectly and I’m extremely happy we went with their team. The communication throughout from staff was excellent. All around a very positive experience!

We're very happy we went with Amramp. The staff are friendly and professional and my parents are very happy with the ramp that was installed. We didn’t realize just how much adding a ramp to their home would help them, and my father frequently tells me how glad they are for it. It will help them stay in their home longer, and that’s priceless to them. Not only is it easier for them to get in and out of their house, but the family will no longer worry about possible falls on the steps. I think families consider ramps only when walkers or wheelchairs make them necessary, but they can help with mobility and make life easier and in some cases, less painful, for those who are simply aging.

Steel and concrete ramps will both last for ages. They will not rot like wood. Aluminum has one-third the strength of steel and is three times softer.

Steel wheelchair ramps won't rot like wood. They also have an open-pattern ramp surface that allows for moisture to pass through, which will prevent dangerous ice from forming that can happen on concrete or aluminum ramps.
