Jim worked on a very difficult problem with our house air conditioning unit. He was dilligent, exacting in his diagnosis, helpful and informative. I am glad that he was our technician and would use him without hesitation should the need arise.

Tim arrived on an emergency call after-hours. He found and solved the problem with my indirect hot water heater and made sure everything was in good working order before he left. He explained everything and was clean and courteous. Great technician!

Well where to start with a company I used to have so much respect for? Owner of the company giving me their WORD they won't give me a problem when I go to collect after they give me the "option" to go work at another location because their service manager's son is getting hired to fill my position. Not surprised as it's played out similarly with multiple employees they decide to quietly push out over health issues. They wait for the ideal time where they can sneak a new hire into a similar role or start "discussions". Used to be a FANTASTIC company ran by the best- until the new GM Henry arrived. Take a look around, there won't be many folks you used to recognize working there any longer, some "claimed" retirement and went to work elsewhere, some just quit all together. With that said, I could blast them for everything under the sun, prices included, but It's not worth my breath. You can compare yourself - I can only go off of how they treated me. (and I WAS a family friend.)

Hi Donald. Most of the Smart Thermostats do require the third wire, the common wire, or would require rewiring to make the Smart Thermostat work without the common wire. The Nest Thermostat E is the one we would recommend as it is the simplest to install, the others we believe all require rewiring. Please find a link to an independent article with the explanations between all Smart Thermostats sold that do not require the common wire, https://www.androidcentral.com/these-smart-thermostats-dont-require-c-wire. Nest Thermostat E This stripped-down version of Nest's Learning Thermostat is a great option for folks who don't want to spend too much and prefer things to be minimalist. The display simply shows the temperature setting, while the app lets you prioritize certain rooms' cooling, change settings when you're away and lets you know if it senses a problem. Most importantly, the Thermostat E features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that bypasses the C Wire requirement.
Good Morning Wei, Thank you for your message. The banging noise could be caused by air in your lines. We recommend having a plumber visit your home to possibly bleed the line. Do you heat your home with oil, propane or natural gas fuel?
Alfred, We do in fact have a Water Heater Service plan, as with all of our service plans they are limited to our oil buying customers. More details about our service plans can be found on our website. https://www.cksmithsuperior.com/ServicePlans.cfm Thank you for reaching out, let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
