Every time I go here, it's a wonderful experience. (for me, not the cats!!!) They are all so nice and thorough and do a wonderful job. Dr. Babiarz is really great and always has a smile on his face. The girls at the front desk are so thoughtful as they let me take my fur kid home first and then I go back to pay as my fur kid is ready to go home and probably howling up a storm! I think they are an awesome animal hospital. It's too bad that we cannot find a way to have another vet on call for emergencies, especially after hours and on weekends without having to travel to Bangor. Could be too late by the time you get there.

Excellent practice with wonderful staff. Everyone is kind, caring, and compassionate. They are all so wonderful with my dog. I feel he gets the very best care. I recently had an emergency and I am so grateful for their expertise. They saved Tony's life. Highly recommend. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Best place ever to bring your pets.

Disappointed and devastated , to say the least, in the knowledge and experience of our emergency. Our dog began violently throwing up, 7 to 8 times in a 45 minute time frame. We brought him to you and told you he could have swallowed something, but we were unsure. We trusted you to know what to do and you failed us. He was given nausea medication and sent home and I called the next day with an update that he had thrown up again 2more times later that night. X-rays were done and we were told there appeared to be a blockage of some kind, but unsure as to what it was. We were told that surgery would have to be done to remove whatever it was. Never was I told about or offered an ultrasound be done before the blockage surgery was performed, how I wish I had known to suggest it. Only afterward when no blockage was found, then the ultrasound was preformed to try to figure out what was wrong. I truly believe the blockage surgery was the result of having to put my dog to sleep, as 6days after the surgery he started bleeding from his incision. Pleasant enough staff and routine exams always went okay, but I cannot recommend this veterinary service in good conscience.

Deacon has to have monthly injections and the staff at Presque Isle Animal Hospital always go out of their way to make sure he is comfortable and not stressed, it is very much appreciated.

Nancy, We do not. This is a very large market so keeping these stocked is not an option. If you need any assistance with them, just give us a call.
