We LOVE Peppercorn Farm Market! Their breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and sandwiches are always on point. They also have a great selection of locally raised meats. The breakfast sausage is especially wonderful. Today we brought home one of their refrigerated pizzas and tomatoes and greens with beautiful edible flowers and I felt compelled to share. This truly is a special shop!

Wonderful people and and coffee and baked goods…EXCEPT—they do not have any gluten free. So when I go with friends for morning coffee, and they are eating breakfast sandwiches and pastries, I am eating cold chicken salad from their take away fridge.

This used to be a wonderful neighborhood health food store: quant, eclectic, warm and welcoming. If there was anything to complain about, it was a little cramped, so there were high hopes in moving to a larger space. At first, I was delighted to see the inclusion of the bakery, and the fresh bread was wonderful. However, I have to report things seemed to have gone way downhill. The last couple times I have been in there, I been met with unfriendly staff and overpriced, stale baked goods. The last time, a few days ago, the few loaves of bread for sale had been baked 6 days prior! Read that again: I said the "fresh bread" was 6 DAYS OLD. I paid $3.52 for a muffin that was probably just as old. My son reported that the muffin tasted like salmon. As for the space, there now appears to be less available than in the old store. It feels cold and empty, and the reception I receive from the staff there is equally so. I won't be shopping there again soon. I'm heartbroken that an iconic and valued part of our community has fallen so far. Why not give it one star? I guess I'm being hopeful. At least you can still get decent coffee beans there.
