I had such an easy experience from doing most of the work online to picking up my car and doing the final paper work with Sid. He was really nice, and great to work with! Definitely request him when you go in to purchase in person or finalize your online purchase.

I was able to purchase a great car at a great price without having to get the typical dealership runaround or sales. Trade off is that it takes quite a while to go from finding your car to driving away with it. They also are terrible with communication between employees/departments and follow up. So they get a deduction for that. There was a new large scrape on the front bumper that had not been disclosed (guessing it was something that happened in transit) so they are having their service department call me to schedule that repair... It has taken going on 3 weeks to hear from them. Deduction for that. Within days of having my car it needed an oil change as well as a new windshield wiper. $150 later it runs great and there aren't any streaks when it rains. Deduction for that. In the end the joy of not having to deal with terrible salesmen outweighs the problems. I'll recommend online purchases, but couch it with all the issues. Nothing's perfect right?

I am sitting here trying to write a balanced, truthful review but I cant think of anything negative to say about CarMax. This is not a fake review. I bought my truck 2/1/2022. I had the truck shipped from another location. They called and made sure I understood the cost of shipping and the background/condition of the vehicle. It arrived about a week later ( they told me up to 2 weeks so 1 week was great!). I arrived at my local CarMax for a test drive that I had setup. They asked me if I wanted a 20 min test drive or a 24 hour test drive? I took the 20 min. While I was on the test drive they had my trade in evaluated. I got more $ for my car than I was expecting. The used car market is crazy so yes I got more for my trade in but also payed more for the truck. I did extensive online research and CarMax's pricing was more than competitive. They gave me a better interest rate on my loan than I was expecting. There was no bulls**t fees! There was one "Admin" fee of $299. I was expecting it to be more. There was a large enough sign as soon as you walked in stating the fee. They made no attempt to hide it. I brought my car to trade in, both key fobs, car title, proof of auto insurance (for test drive), drivers license and bank check for down payment. CarMax is a "no haggle" car dealership. The price you see is the price you pay so the buying experience is so smooth and non confrontational :-) First time in my 45 years on this planet I actually had no issues, gripes buying a car!

CarMax was great! The car I wanted was in another state. They delivered it within a few days. The purchasing was smooth and easy. I purchased an Audi Q7, I had a few concerns with the paint being scratched, the tires were past their prime, and the cup holder inside was chipped (i know silly) but they painted the car, replaced all 4 tires and replaced the cup holder :) I was very pleased! They gave me a fair amount for my trade too!!! All in all a very good experience.

They come with a 90 day or 4000 mile warranty. Whichever one come first but you can buy an extended warranty
