I was here recently for an emergency for my 13 year old dog. We were there a very long time before he could be seen by the doc. This place is busy and they take the critical stuff first. All of the people I interacted with were pros and very helpful. I never felt pressured to do anything as they provided a couple of options. Once we were seen by the doc things moved quick. Ultimately I got to take my dog home which is a huge win at his age. These folks do a good job and the price was totally fair for services rendered. I'll definitely go back to them, even if I hope I don't have to. Solid folks, just have patience.

I went with a friend of mine to this location about a year ago when she had to put her cat Cleveland to rest. It was an above-average experience, leaving an impression on me. Monday, I had to put my lovely Lily to rest. She was my companion, such a sweet girl. I called the Veterinary Emergency Center of Manchester without a second thought when my Lily started to "turn" I am still in shock and heartbroken at how quickly Lily has passed on. The all-around experience here is something I am so thankful for. I highly recommend this location if you are in need of an Emergency vet. The staff is compassionate and understanding, the atmosphere is relaxing and calm. Thank You for making this transition a little easier. I hope this review helps someone who needs to make a tough decision. <3

This place and the staff is absolutely wonderful. We took our bulldog peach in late last night and they were all so sweet and very helpful and kind to my baby Peach. It is never fun to have to go to a place like this but it makes things much easier when the staff truly cares and loves your pets. I live about an hour away but if i ever need to seek emergency care for my pets i will definitely be chosing them.

I am overall very pleased with my experience at VECM. I brought my cat Luna in for an intestinal blockage which she ended up needing surgery for. When I arrived, I was at first irritated with how long they took to see us (4 hours.) But after spending more time in the hospital I learned that it was a good thing they took a while to see her because she was not deemed to be an immediate emergency. All of the staff was nothing but kind to us and they clearly did an excellent job on her surgery as it has only been 24 hours and she is already feeling so much better. Dr. Philip Hyde performed her surgery and when he called to let me know how it went he was so comforting and reassuring and made me feel so much better. We also found the nurse Molly to be exceptionally kind. This place is expensive, but when you look at the breakdown of the different expenses on the invoice, it is all very reasonable. Although I hope we never have to come back, we will definitely return here for any future veterinary emergency.

An emergency assessment is $160, plus the cost of investigating and treating the issue - examples: medications, surgery, x-rays
Hi Kristin - that is a great question and even better way to be prepared for an emergency! We do not work with any particular insurance company. But after the visit, typically the insurance company emails us for medical records to process your claim. I hope that is helpful!
Patricia, I am sorry but we don't offer virtual visits.
Hi Joan, we do not do house calls. However, there are a few mobile veterinarians in NH!
Hi Kim, we don’t monitor this often in regards to messages. If you have a question, please call 666-6677 :)
