I came here for a rideshare inspection. I got a text saying the service changed from rideshare inspection, to emmissions state inspection. I went back to the counter to confirm this was still the same thing, and was told that it was. So I sat back down and waited. Two hours. A two hour wait for an inspection. Then he comes back out with my own registration card in hand, saying it doesn’t need inspected until next year. Then I say yes it does it needs its rideshare inspection before I can drive Uber with it. Now I’ve waited another 30 minutes for the thing I came here for to be performed on it, and will be late to work. I had the appointment scheduled for 10, my car wasn’t even looked at until at least 11:50, and now it’s 12:27 and they’re still doing the rideshare inspection. I work at 1, I figured that would have been more than enough time for a simple inspection. Now I have to try to be refunded through CarAdvise, because the original service was only $26 but I was charged $30 by pep boys for the incorrect service.

This is the second time that I've changed this review. I don't know what happened at this Pep Boys location but it's gotten a lot better. The staff are friendlier & they seem to understand that my time is important. Katelyn is great with the Hertz rental car drivers. But really, everyone is very nice and accommodating.

The manager, David and the Assistant manager, Eddie were so very helpful! They went above and beyond my expectations. I walked in, got 4 new tires put on and at a great price!

This place of business is what you would call professional. My problems was fixed in a great timely manner and to be what’s inspected, they do price match and find the best deals around Gastonia, everyone there employee wise is wonderful and I haven’t met a soul yet that would defer my opinion. I have entered this place for the first time a couple days ago and Mr. David, the store manager has been taking great care of my darling with every problem I had and way to go Taylor for providing the best customer service to hold!

Yes, but make sure they have the right ones. They sell out fast when bad weather hits!
They give estimates. Tried to charge me $600. Felt like it was because I'm a female. I'm sure I was just sensitive due to the shocking estimate! I'm not a sensitive person. Daddy taught me to repair cars. I have a sweet ride! I cannot replace front end parts... that's a fact of life. Still got a broken strut... I forgot about it! Only feel it when car is carrying weight! Keep a light load until repaired. Struts are not expensive. Labor is negotiable!
The question shouldn't be do they? The question should be who do you trust with your rims! Always choose the best! Never take a chance bc damage cannot be undone. No matter what they say insist on staying with your vehicle. Take pictures of your rims when you get there! Nothing gets to me like someone damaging my wheels! Discuss the weights. Don't assume anything!
If it is available at their local hub, yes. If not, no.
