July 15, 2022 11pm Pre bedtime inspection- found no bedbugs but quite a few small beetle type bugs dead and alive on the floor. In the morning I found 1 small and one larger on the mattress cover, which was torn in several places. Took them to the office where I was told that they would stripp the room and surrounding rooms and use insecticide and heat treatment for killing any bugs. They said they would also refund my money. Courteous but did not seem shocked. I have 1 or 2 small bites, husband none.

This should not even be called a Choice Hotel. Nothing good about it the back side must have been weekly rentals from all the folks hanging around with their doors open. Was expecting much better since it said it was near the university. Sheets thread bare, thinnest towels ever, no soap, hairdryer broke and front door locked and no one was answering the front desk phone maybe the clerk felt as unsafe as we did. Have traveled from coast to coast and north to south and never stayed in a motel half this bad. Dont know how it got a 3 plus rating it should have been a 0 to warn people. Never again.

This the third time i've stayed here and this will be the last. The first two times while there were no frills (as expected), but it was clean and peaceful. This time, our comforter had cigarette burn holes in it, blanket had stains and a weird odor, sheets had dark black marks on them (maybe cigarette ashes), and the noise levels were out of control. Very loud cars with loud music in and out all night, people yelling...it was awful. Lost a customer this time out.

Rooms are clean with flat-screen TV, fast WiFi, fridge and good shower with amazingly hot water. Pet friendly with the little grass area. The outside is clean with nearby convenience store and plenty of food options. Also within walking distance of bowling alley and bar. But the best thing is the staff. They are amazing from the time you check in, to the time you check out.
