I like to shop at Shaws in Hanover because I find the store to be just the right size, not overwhelmingly large and with enough variety to satisfy my picky taste. In addition, Shaw's has a section for reduced meat and bakery goods which I find very convenient when I want to cook something immediately on the same day. I save money and eat a great meal simultaneously! The staff here are very friendly and helpful albeit most of them are teenagers but I guess somebody has pounded into their head to be courteous and helpful! The price is here like everywhere are going up up! However, with the store app as well as the ability to stock up when they have things on sale, I find the store much more of the value than stop & shop.

Great, hardworking staff. Good produce, meat and seafood. Not too big, not too small. Once you know your way around, you can get your shopping done fairly quickly.

Not a big place by normal US standards, produce is good but a little limited. The selection of vegetarian prepared food is a little lacking. No obvious problems though.
