We recently moved to the area and were looking for places to bring our 10-year old granddaughter on weekends in the winter and decided to join the Y. We found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Although the rock wall area is small and gets busy, with patience, our granddaughter enjoys the challenge. The multipurpose pool and lap pool are well maintained and a great activity for winter months. My only suggestion is that lifeguard staff enforce no jumping or diving in the 3-4 foot section of the pool. We watched one young boy end up with a bloody nose after diving in head first in that section of pool. Although signs are posted, lifeguards need to be vigilant in this rule. The locker area, gym, and gymnasium are all clean and well maintained. It’s definitely worth the reasonable monthly fee!

My biggest complaint is women's shower stalls it is filthy, there are hair, gunk and grime in the shower stalls. We are in a pandemic you would think they would be more diligent in making sure that those areas are clean regularly, just having a spray bottle by the shower is not enough we need to have those shower stalls clean daily. I've been there at least three times a week and the showers were the same as it was the day before, filthy. The staff are amazing I like the facility the pool and the equipments are clean.

Love this place. It provides so many incredible programs that allow kids to grow physically and emotionally. There’s tons of activities for families to spend quality time with each other. If you’re strictly looking for a gym, their variety of FREE group exercise classes run from family-friendly to hard core. The exercise center is clean and judgement free and offers Personal Training to help get you ready for that up-coming Tough Mudder or Spartan Race. Oh, by the way, they have two pools (both heated and comfy), one for laps (not too warm) and a multi-purpose.

Great gym. Great value. Rock wall. Dive pool. Lap pool. Gymnasium. Great exercise room with treadmills, freeweights and Nautilus equipment. Additional rooms for programs like spinning. Used to have more to do for the kids in the play room, but still a decent place to let the 8-12 yr olds sit around while you get your workout in. Also has a Subway right in the front. Everything is clean. Only tried the jacuzzi pool once, it was ok. Have yet to try to spa or steam rooms. They run some good programs from here. Swim lessons and gymnastics as well as archery and others.

Busiest between 5-6,pm or during swim meets. Slower otherwise.
Closed I believe.
I haven’t seen anything on their website about it but call them directly. They are very helpful.
Yes, we do! For more information please feel free to give us a call.
Absolutely! We offer both private lessons and group lessons. Private lessons are based on your schedule. Current group lessons are Wednesdays at 6:45pm, though you missed the first class (the session started this week). The next session begins the end of October! Learn more at ghymca.org/swimlessons or call the branch. Thanks!
Yes. Its the most equipt Y I have been to on the East Coast
There was financial assistance based on income at one time. They might’ve changed policies, but I highly doubt they’ve done away with it completely. As for discounts for those with disabilities, they have a Livestrong program but that’s it to my knowledge. If you stop at the membership desk and ask to discuss a membership, they will DEFINITELY try to work with you. As a non-profit organization, they’re there to help you get healthy, NOT to make money off of you (like most gyms).
