Great when one has an appointment but even then do not trust these people to be competent at their job. Made an appointment for transferring a registration but when I went to inspect my car for safety, they could not find my vehicle in the system based on the plates meaning that the plates were not transferred with the registration. Waste of time and energy but it will not matter because this is a government post.

Had a 11:50 am appointment on a Tuesday, it took more than 1:10 mins to get a licenses renewal. I waited more than an hour just to see one of the agents. Literally 2 people ahead of me, apparently they take a 1 hr lunch break. I have no problem but Please respect tax payers time and don’t give appointments during lunch times so people just don’t sit there for 1 hr and waste their time. Please be respectful of peoples time!!!

Lynda and Luis were very helpful and friendly people. However the assistant manager Mark (who is mentioned throughs these reviews) is very aggressive and outdated. He uses derogatory remarks and threats towards people at the service window, yells across the customer area at customers he didn’t get along with, and was extremely short with people who weren’t his demographic. This is the exact type of person we see in the news everyday. Unfortunately mark was very clear that he is in charge (he mentioned it 5+ times in a matter of the hour I spent there), and he “doesn’t need to give you a number in line if he doesn’t feel like it.” His coworkers were clearly very uncomfortable around him, and even made some comments about working under him and just resorting to saying “you’ll never like your boss.” This place can seriously use some better leadership as the employees who are doing the hard work here, are pleasant to do business with.

Great experience at this RMV. I made an appointment in advance, which meant they whisked me to the front of the line when arrived. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and helpful. Plus, I was out in less than 15 minutes with minimal wait time, and this is for two transactions (getting new plates and a Real ID). Just make sure you make a reservation online!

Yes. First come first serve.
At age 65 and beyond, you'll have to go to an RMV office that gives an eye test. Not all of them do!
make an appointment for a shorter wait in person
Go to the RMV
I believe it is 30$ now and you only get one try it used to be three times on the payment but they recently changed all prices
Yes
If you received the payment clearance you are good to go to pick up the plates. Keep the receipt (email) of the transaction so the security guards will ask for it.
Either or
Contact the registry on that issue
Yes please
Yes from 9--5
no only on sundays
You need plates. If you don't have plates, go get plates.
You may be able to do it for her online. I took my elderly mom over a few years ago and they let her skip the line.
No. You need an appointment
Almost everyone will need a real id for various reasons (like getting into federal buildings and domestic airflights) by next May, so all RMV locations will get you one.
No idea. If it doesn't say on their website, call them.
Yes, you have to make an appointment for everything.
My friend and mine had to go the 1st hour that the RMV is open because he did not have an appointment. So at that hour of 9 AM you're gonna find a throng of people who have no appointment in addition to those who do. Your advantage is you actually have an appointment. I would play it safe and go a 1/2 an hour early but that's me. You don't want those non appointment people to throw you off.
yes, by appointment
Registration renewals can vary from $20 and up depending on the type of plate you have and yes all forms of payment are accepted.
Make an appointment online and bring proof of lawful presence and provide proof of Massachusetts residency.
Yes, but first you must come in person provide all necessary documentation and application do a vision test and take a picture make sure to make an appointment first
Yes try and make a appointment @ mass.gov the line is normally people that are trying to walk in with no appointment.
The Wilmington registry will take walk-ins first thing in the morning at 9:00 there's a limited amount that we will allow in it is recommended that you make an appointment if you come after 10:00 same day appointments are always available if you try going to the website.
schedule an appointment for a much shorter wait time
Yes if you are a doing any rmv transaction.. except business to business hours are drop of 10-2 and pick up 2-5
Yes but you must go online to make a appointment, we will be taking appointment's effective 9-20-21
No Registry's open. You do have a wait possibly as you will get a text when your number is ready. They're moving fairly quickly. Hearing officer's are only in the Boston or Lawrence location's. By number usually 20 person per day in Lawrence I believe? Boston can possibly take more. Hearings are by phone after you leave your paperwork. I Hope this Helps
No. You have to visit to submit documents
Yes, it's not 100% drop off. Bring a pen fill out a slip of paper, they text you when to enter to drop off.
You would have to call ahead but they are open
I don't know what you need, but I couldn't make an appt. This location is considered drop off station. I went last week to register my car, when you arrive you scan the barcode on the RMV window and wait in your car until they text you to come in. It was about 50 mins wait time, they take your paperwork and will email you to pay and print out temp plates. I'm still waiting.
I don't think so, except for maybe driving tests. It's walk up only.
No you have to go to Lawrence
I know you can register the car there, but I don't know about the title
Security is there to assist if needed. Scan qr code with phone or text 800 number and you'll get a number. Can wait in car til texted they are ready for you. Make sure all paperwork is done correctly and in order prior to going. In a few days you'll get an email with payment info. Log on pay and you'll receive notification to pick up materials. My stuff was easy and they processed and took payment immediately. They were very helpful and pleasant.whole process was about 45 minutes due to awaiting cleaning.
Need appointment
I don't think there's a drop off hours in there ... All I did was showing up there around 11am fill out the application the give you outside and after they call you through your phone by sending you a text message .. you will have to go back there within 5 business days the will send you an email through your email to make a payment if you're trying to register a vehicle , then after you make the payment online just go there again and then tell them you already made a payment and that I'm all set and that's about it ... There's no such drop off hours or anything like that just go there and you'll be good
Is Wilmington RMV open at night and how do I make appointment
Pam Raye go to regertry and they got a piece of paper to make a appointment
You have to go online and apply for an appointment. Also you may be better off contacting local motorcycle dealer and see if they have a program setup.
No they are not and closed tomorrow too
I think you can still use the transponder that you have on your new plates I have never had an issue but I would call the registry just to be sure and you don't get a fine or anyrhing
No it's a state holiday.
Not sure sorry. I would suggest using their email address listed on the website
For what purpose
Yes it is, the one in Wilmington is close to the train
Yes they should if you haven't received it yet, I would go back and find out about it if that were me

Look at their web site I think they have firms you can download to fill out and have a doctor fill out. You might want to call or email them directly.
Bring your current registration and show the receptionist she direct you to the appropriate window

Yes
Yes and yes 9-5
No we are not sorry state holiday.
Tuesday and Wednesday early morning is best time 😉
Are you expecting the RMV to answer you ? I am sorry Terry but the customer service from the RMV is horrific and I am doubtful they will ever answer you back . :-(
The best thing to do is get on the rmv website and download the checklist for acquiring a mass liscense. For starters make sure you have either a certified copy of your birth certificate (issued by the city or town where you were born not a hospital certificate). It needs to have a raised seal. IT CAN NOT BE LAMINATED. Or a valid passport. This is for proof of legal presence in the US and to verify your date of birth. You will need proof of Massachusetts residency. For this any 1st class mail from the govt to you postmarked within the last 60 days will suffice. A copy of a rental lease with your name on it will also work. That will get you a standard liscense. For real ID you will need your social security card and again it must not be laminated and one or 2 other documents you can find on the rmv website. I suggest you start the process online and download the checklist. Be patient and be prepared for it to take some time. If you are a triple A member they can help too. Good luck!!
Birth certificate, social security card, piece of mail from electric, credict card,or lease if rent. If its a female renewal she will also need a copy of marriage license if married.
Does the rmv exsep discover card payments
Should be able to do it online
Registration form, title, insurance papers and money...
Not according to their website
Yes
$281.25 for sales tax at the MA rate of 6.25%, plus $60 to register with regular plates ($80 for vanity/custom plates plates if you go that route, plus a $75 title fee.
No women just don’t know how to drive
Three steps in order: Get your car insured Go to the registry of Motor vehicles Get your car inspected in a trusted station
You're asking the google community, not the RMV itself. Call them, or use their website for information.
Hopefully this gets right to you yes you should go to the registry it will be quicker than them mailing you something it's very hard to get them on the phone and I think that they still charge $5 to help you over the phone that crazy they know how to make money if you go in there is free just go in the morning
You're asking the google community, not the RMV itself. Call them for specific hours.
No. Cash or check only. They have an Atm there.
As far as I know, as long as they're open you can register a vehicle
They take check or cash. There is an Atm on site too.
