I've been a long time customer going back over 50years. I have become diabetic and have very little control of my bladder. I asked if i could use their restroom and explained my health issue. The young man refused to let me use bathroom. I had to make it out to my car and void into a coffee cup. This was so degrading for me, i felt like a dog. I have spent thousands of dollars in this place and now i feel their is no respect to their loyal customers.

Absolutely terrible service, do not buy a rod or any gear from them from them, go to canal bait and tackle instead

Fantastic place! If they don’t have it, you probably don’t need it… The people at Red Top are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I lost a receipt that I needed for warranty work, they gladly search back and provide me with a duplicate copy. I’ve never had a bad experience there. There is a reason they have been there so long. I remember going there as a kid in the 50’s.

Best shop on either side of the bridge, AJ was super helpful. The store is full of knowledge. They can fix rods, reels. They can also spool your reels for you. I doubt I'll be going to another store anytime soon.

The best time of year is usually summer time, although we have an excellent spring and fall run in this area. As far as time of day, first light and night time are usually the most productive.

Hey blake small stripers and holdover fish are around but you'll have to put in alot of time. Come the first week of june and stop by red top,they will have everything you need.
