I recommend Dr Margaret Werner, Pediatrician at Acton Medical Associates. She is very friendly and thorough. My 2 daughters are the patients of Dr Werner for several years and i felt like she provides care to my kids same like how she may treat her own kids. Whenever a work up done, she makes sure to notify me even after hours. I had a recent experience, I went to recheck my 4 years old child’s blood work, I was very concerned about the results, but I never called the office to bother them since it was done in the evening. Dr Werner checked the report at 10 pm whenever it was available and notified me through patient portal even the results were normal. I felt so much relieved. Impossible to get anyone to pick up there phone. The whole online system seems designed to make you give up trying to make an appointment, just like the phone system. I waited on hold for over an hour trying to return a call that was "disconnected" in under a minute. They're still claiming it's because of COVID-19 related questions overwhelming the staff but that excuse is pretty stale in August 2022. If you do manage to talk to a nurse they just refer you to go to an urgent care clinic or wait for months to get an appointment. This is for simple things like a kid's ear infection that definite don't warrant clogging up urgent care clinics. Even before COVID a physical for an adult was just then drawing blood and telling you to look online for results, no discussion of what the results meant. The doctor or nurse doing the physical is always clearly stressed and rushing, just trying to speed away to the next patient. Literally the worst. Avoid if at all possible.

I've been a patient here nearly my entire life. Tried to call to refill a prescription, and I was told they have never prescribed me the medication that I was holding in my hand. Consistently feels like you are a burden on them. Have had a new doctor appointed to me for 2 years, and not once have I been able to actually see them.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. Tried to call in to make an appointment. Got berated on the phone by the receptionist that I haven’t been there for over a year, that they don’t have any appointments for the next 4 months, and it’s all my fault. Mind you, at this point I’m just asking about the schedule and being very respectful and patient. I can’t say it’s been pleasant with medical staff here as well. They don’t seem to listen to any concerns, and literally get less than 2 mins with them before they tell you they have other patients to attend to. Overall, very terrible.
