I got a gel fill and basic nail polish. It was $50 for a fail, and they charge me five dollars to repair one broken nail. The broken nail they repaired looks like a clubbed nail and his pointed down in the lobby. Totally looks horrible

Went in for first time today. Very strange how they did my “fill” Rather than taking my regular nail polish off with nail polish remover she used the file and filed it all off very roughly which felt very awkward I had also asked her to make them a little bit shorter not sure how they would normally do this at other nail salons but I’ve never seen this done before she then proceeded to use the file again to take small amounts of nail off until I agree that it was to the length I wanted. again, I don’t know if that’s how they do it another nail salons but it just seemed kind of weird to me that that was how they did it she cut me numerous times and whatever material she used for the fill was strange it was almost some sort of like glue/sticky substance almost with a honey consistency that she Used to fill in my nails she got asked me to put it under the UV light and as I let it sit my nails started burning she said when it get hot take your hand out yeah thanks for telling me to begin with she did listen to how I wanted everything And I am satisfied with the final product however the process to get there was very unpleasant and I paid $70 very expensive after my own experience and reading reviews I guess this is a hit or miss going here. I most likely won’t return

I am never going back to VIP nails in North Providence. I have been time and time again trying to give them second chances and every time it just keeps getting worse. This last time I got a pedicure and a manicure I had an appointment and had to wait over 25 minutes in the pedicure chair. Then I decided to do a gel manicure the pictures below features a gel manicure done five days ago. Gel manicures are supposed to last two weeks sometimes more I am so disappointed with this place they treat you like a meat market quick in and quick Out. They just want as many customers as they can fit in it’s really all about the dollar bill here and not the customers satisfaction or experience. When I want to go to a nail salon I want to feel like I am being pampered not being rushed.
