Considered going, friendly on phone. But very pricey, didn't seem like much for amenities

RV BE AWARE! Yesterday I drove approx 300 miles to come to stay at your campsite. Upon my arrival I was checked in and escorted to my site by a golf cart person. It became painfully obvious as I pulled past the gate that this was an old property and I had to maneuver through trailer homes in a windy fashion leaving inches of clearance for my Entegra Anthem 45 foot Motor coach. I was ultimately directed into a site which could not safely fit my rig and was also backed into a sign which caused paint damage by your agent. The sight was also on a 20% downgrade and not even close to being level. The space was entirely too small for the rig and the tow car as my front end was 1 foot from the street, and the toad was against the picnic table begging to be sideswiped. I asked for another site to mitigate the issue but you had none available. It appeared the larger pull through sites were in use and you attempted to put my equipment and family in a precariously inappropriate site for a Motorcoach. I realized that this was not right and made the wise decision to leave the premises which again I could barely get out through the tiny curvy roadway with no clearance whatsoever. In short I concluded that I was completely mislead about my reservation and simply left and requested a refund of your hasty charges to my my American Express card. "No one" had the decency or professionalism to even respond to two of my phone calls. Instead I was avoided. I want you to know that I have Motorcoach damage in excess of 1000.00 dollars and an equal amount of mileage and costs wasted due to you false advertising of site p39. You have also ruined a family vacation and wasted my time causing me mental and emotional distress. It is important to note that one of your golf cart rangers continuously harassed me as I was trying to move my jeep out of the way of the exiting Motorcoach quoting driveway rules and had no clue what I was trying to do after I explained it to him. Simple and plain ignorant harassment. I see that you have not refunded my two charges you have made to my account and intend to keep my money even though you have provided me no service whatsoever, and in fact you have caused me damages and very substantial disservice. Govern yourself accordingly,

We really loved this place! The beach is right across the street. Mostly seasonals but a nice section of pull thrus and back ins. Quiet and cozy, and small store up front with ice cream window. Paved roads and a paved area at each site which was awesome. We would definitely visit here again.

Upon check in, began to notice the change in the atmosphere, staff were more friendly and exhibited concern for any issues noted during the stay by emailing the issue to them. Even when standing outside of the office waiting for a delivery, staff questioned if they could help. Appeared that the loop had been paved making it easier to walk around. Camp sites were well maintained.. Beach area was enjoyable and clean. Looking forward to another visit.
