Yesterday our rescue cat Warren had a wellness check and his vaccination. We went to the wrong address and called them to tell them we’d be late. They were very understanding and they let us bring in Warren. They were just wonderful from start to finish. That included the receptionists, tech, and vet. They didn’t rush us and answered all our concerns and questions. They gave us helpful recommendations. Being in our 60s we appreciated that everyone wore masks to protect not only humans but our vulnerable pets as well. It was a A plus experience.

Really great the receptionist who got my cat in for a time sensitive shot was suuuuper helpful and knowledgeable!! Unfortunately though one girl with purple hair was super rude to my boyfriend about putting his mask on while he has his hands full carrying my cat in. Didn't really see why she needed to make it unpleasant other than that I feel they genuinely do care and I trust them with my pets

Really felt the attention to detail. From the folks on the phone to the Vet Tech to the doctor. My one dog is anxious and they worked with me to facilitate a smooth visit. Cost was reasonable and within expected range. Highly recommend. This is our 3rd VCA we've used.

Kind, caring, knowledgeable staff all the way around from front desk to technicians to vet team. Everyone treated my dog with compassion and really helped him feel as comfortable as possible during his visit.

You'll have to call them directly.
Our pit had this..we had Dr. Samantha Simonelli do the operation. Turned out wonderful!
If your cat doesn't need to be sedated for grooming, most grooming salons should be able to help. If he does need sedation, he'll need an exam at VCA Wakefield and then they can schedule a time for a sedated groom. For your pet's safety, he needs to have had an exam with one of their doctors within the past year in order to receive any treatments. They don't provide non-sedated grooming services.
Radiocat is a national organization which does radioactive iodine treatment for cats. They offer treatment at VCA Wakefield approximately once a month. They use VCA Wakefield space, and VCA Wakefield staff oversee the procedure but it is coordinated by and billed through Radiocat who is out of Maryland.
