We used to fish there years ago, but haven't been there for a long time. We did very well, in fact I caught one bass that was probably close to 5lbs. Hooked into a pickerel, didn't quite get him in the boat, but he was really big. We won't stay away that long again.

This is a nice place to hike, with some hills, and a variety of trails. Maps are posted in places and are helpful, but you may still need your phone location to help find your way out in a timely manner (as I did).

This is a perfect spot to crash land your high altitude weather balloon! The trees are welcoming, though a bit tall, so you'll need to bring a thirty foot pole saw to cut the rope between your payload and your parachute. (Please don't cut the trees!) Watch out for ticks in the spring and summer.

Wide trails for easy hiking or biking, but the trails and crossings aren't identified, making map or GPS a plus. Some slightly overgrown offshoot paths lead to great views of the ponds and Great Blue Heron nesting.
