Amazing visitor center! The staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I got a private screening of the 15 minute video on the local history. The inside of the theater space is equipped with vintage movie theater seats that were salvaged from a local movie theater. The exit signs and ceiling decor was also salvaged. Lots of nice looking and informative walls too.

Back open to public after covid 19 issues. This is the first stop for information about the Blackstone Valley Heritage Area. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Stop by to learn the beginnings of the American Industrial Revolution, and how the Blackstone River played a major part in its success.

The visitor center is a perfect spot to showcase the history of Pawtucket and the Blackstone Valley. The gift shop, gallery, and displays are wonderful contributions to the downtown community.

Awesome space for any potential venue. It has a small theatre, atrium type hall, and gallery/exhibit area. The space just lends itself to possibilities and the coordinator Jerry makes things happen.

Why advertise in the Valley Breeze about kayak tours on the Blackstone River and there are no dates this year on the website dosen't make sense

Hi Robert, so sorry about that. There was a glitch in our booking system but all set now. Rentals are available on Sundays in Oct. If you go to RivertourBlackstone.com/site/kayak you'll see the yellow "book rentals" button and the dates and times available. Please let me know if we can help with anything else and look forward to seeing you out on the river.

I have tried, in vain, to find the names of the black artists that showed their paintings at the Tourism location several months ago. Does someone have the list of participants?
