Pod was supposed to be picked up 2 weeks ago. Now We are 8 days at our new house with no pod, supposed to be here already and now have to wait another 2 weeks. Wow. Such a waste of money and time!

My husband and I had the worse experience with this company. I made a reservation for a POD delivery weeks in advance using the online portal, which is the only option. We made a trip from MA for the purpose of packing out the contents of our home so our flooring could be replaced. The delivery time window we were given was 1:15-4:15. We had a crew ready and waiting to help with the moving. When the POD didn't arrive at 4:15, I began a series of 4 phone calls to customer service. Each time speaking with a representative who was located "off shore" I was told. I was also told the POD wasn't considered late until after 2 hours. In our case 6:15, which was conveniently after their closing business hours of 6pm. Needless to say the POD never arrived, I never received a returned call, the unit didn't arrive the next morning and our crew was left hanging. My husband and I ended up moving all of our contents ourselves using an alternate plan of storage. Later the following day, I received an email that my POD delivery was rescheduled to July 9..our original date was June 30! Still no communication from the company. Completely unprofessional. If a subzero review was available, it would be my choice.

I entered info online for a quote on 4/18/22, started a chat and was provided an amount for the move. Easy right?? 🥳 I agreed to the amount and started planning my next steps to relocate. Before I received the reservation confirmation by email, I received a message in the original chat that the quote was incorrect. 🤔 I was supposed to receive an updated quote within 48 hours. 🧭 5:34pm today marked 48 hours and I still don't have a revised quote, at 8pm!! Maybe they're so busy that they don't need my 💰 . 🤷🏾♀️ Be leary if you plan to use PODS. They came highly recommended, but quickly became my disappointment. ☹️

In July of 2021, I contracted with PODS to move my belongings from Vallejo, CA to Lakewood Ranch. The total cost was nearly 10K. PODS misstepped from the beginning failing to start the transport of my POD upon the agreed-upon date. This caused my POD to get caught up in Hurricane Ida and the transport arrived weeks after agreed upon. Ultimately, I know things happen and I tried to remain as flexible as possible. I agreed to delivery several weeks later. However, the PODS rep failed to reschedule pick-up. My new community has restrictions such as no on-street parking and the POD needed to be picked up within 2 days per HOA restrictions. Therefore, I needed to leave my car in the garage and the POD was blocking it. This ultimately resulted in my daughter missing a flight to London. She is a student there and I did not have any way to transport her to Tampa. I have tried repeatedly to reach out to PODS about this issue as well as two others. Each issue has a different rep coordinating the response so I have had to explain it all to three different people. One issue was charging me for an additional month of storage while the POD was delayed by Hurricane Ida (resolved after multiple phone calls and emails), damage to county-owned property which PODS requires me to mediate for them, and the cost of the airline ticket. On 9/16, 9/20, 9/27, 9/29, & 10/18 I reached out to Nichole Rhodes, Customer Advocacy Rep. I have also reached out to the PODS facebook team on multiple dates as well. The last time I heard from Ms. Rhodes was 9/29. She has not responded since I provided her with documentation about the cost of the ticket. This move cost me 10K and I do not believe that PODS has performed within the terms of the contract. I asked for a credit of $1,500 to offset the cost of the ticket, the inconvenience of living without my things and furniture for three weeks, and the time I have had to invest in resolution. I believe it was a fair request to resolve.

We do have hooks inside the container that help with strapping your items down. We do recommend packing mindfully as well!
