Pretty great place. Not a lot of room inside though, so wait times are always super long, which is a bummer. Music inside is super loud, so unless you are sitting right next to someone, it is really difficult to hear what the other person is saying. Lots of cocktails and other drinks options. No food option is a bummer for me. The location isn't that easy to find. You access the place through a staircase which is kinda hidden between two buildings.

Absolutely AWFUL place. The door manager was on some sort of a power trip and allowed everyone through, except me and my husband (we’re both brown). We furnished all the documents that were asked of us, and yet the door manager decided to not let us in. After being harassed after providing all the required age proof, I stepped away from the bar. The bar manager continued to claim I was “giving attitude” when all I did was step away from the counter when it seemed very obvious that the bar manager had something against me and my husband. We were treated super disrespectfully and I left the bar in tears. Never would I ever come here again, nor would I recommend anyone to come here

Great Cocktail spot! Brick and Mortar is a very intimate dark cocktail spot in the middle of Cambridge. It makes for a great place for first dates. The drinks are reasonably price for Cambridge and GREAT quality! I definitely will be coming back!
