Worst clinic anybody can go too. They rude and unprofessional. You giving them hospital papers and they lost them . And then you not allowed to get upset . When they can't do there job . People have health issues and you just ignore there calls. Or don't call them back for a whole month. Even when I kept reaching out to them . I am so glad I don't have to deal with this clinic anymore

Pharmacy is a nightmare. Trying to get my script transferred for Nearly a month. Nobody answers the phone. I will have to take another day off work to get the problem fixed. Waited for over an hour and they didn’t have the med so I asked for them to send to Walgreens. Still dealing with the problem month later. Now they can't refill it saying I have it

Called in for a refill at this clinic. Went in 4 days later and the order didn't go through (even got a confirmation it did). So, sat for 3 hours, get another text saying it is ready for pick up...nope! Then they had the nerve to get an attitude with me after asking how long it would be after wating 3 hours already. Good thing the clinic is closing! The customer service sucks!

A superb improvement from the rough and tough Brandon Clinic. This clinic has definitely been revamped. The only thing I can complain about is the signs and parking layout. I was a bit confused coming to the clinic because you get the back of the clinic from the street. Nothing can really be done about that except put up signs. There is one sign off the street and it seems to be a temporary fix. So, if you see a bunch of awnings and random doors in...know that you're in the back of the building. As soon as you turn in, don't stop driving. There are several entrances but not all of them are for patients. Head straight to the powerlines that you'll and thank God for all the parking spaces you'll see. There is no patient entry through the sides. There are handicap parking spaces, a wheel around, and ramps available. They just put up the sign for the clinic right over the front door. Whoooo hooo! Coming into the lobby...again refreshing. They've added kiosks for pharmacy and lab. There are multiple waiting rooms partitioned throughout the clinic so you dont feel on top of the person next to you. The service is impeccable. The people are great. I really enjoy coming to family health. The technicians, doctors, nurses and civilian staff are accommodating and welcoming. I have yet to have a bad experience. They offer Xray, Mammo, and Ultrasound at this clinic now. They have lab and pharmacy like they had before. I would say the clinic is larger. The rooms are well spaced out. You definitely have to walk while you're here. There are bathrooms galore instead of the one they had in the lobby. Well done.

No.
No. However, if you get to the pharmacy early (730) or right before lunch at (1030) wait times are considerably manageable enough that you won't be waiting for long periods of time.
Call the general number and follow the prompts. You can leave a voice mail for your primary care team. They are very responsive.
730 to 1600.
No. All refills must be picked up at the drive thru clinic at MacDill.
Lab work start at 7.30am every day
It's currently a plan to close the entire clinic. However that plan still has to be approved by congress and is not yet official.
Refills are no longer available to be picked up at Sabal Park. If you no longer want express scripts, you would need to contact your pcm by leaving a message through the appointment line or Tricare Secure Messaging. If it's a renewal, when your team responds it can be up to 3 business days for activation and pick up.
If it's an outside prescription, you can bring in a hard copy to the clinic and drop off in the outside prescription box. Depending on when you drop it off, as well as whether or not the medication is an emergency medication (from the ER or Urgent Care) or a routine medication (cholesterol medication) will depend on when you get your medication - out of clinic.
New changes can be inconvenient. And this new pharmacy change is no different. However, for continuity of care and ease of access MacDill now needs your specialist to send an electronic prescription or e-script so that your medication can be filled. You will also have to contact the macdill pharmacy through tricare online to activate those medications.
In my experience with dealing with the providers in family, they all have really great bedside manner. I might see one provider, but you end up passing the others in the hall. There's not one that I've dealt with that hasnt been interested in helping. Some of them even know my family and ask about them when we visit. I dont know how it is on base, but because the Sabal Park Clinic is small and by itself out in tampa...it's very family oriented. I think it's just about giving the providers respect, showing up on time, bringing in the proper paperwork when they ask and being a team player with them that fosters that great relationship. I will say that because there are military personnel as providers be prepared for them to go on temporary duty or deployments. If they are away from the clinic for prolonged periods of time, the team does a good job covering, but...alas...the doctor you're used to isnt there. So, I would keep that in mind.
The Google site does not automatically renew whether we are open or closed for training days, unexpected closures. So make sure to visit the 6th Medical Group facebook page to get updates on closures. The base also has a number where you can get text messaging updates when we are closed or have reduced capabilities.
